AMAZING
AMAZING experience, highly recommended if you are visiting Dublin. The guide was fab (Tim) so knowledgeable and warm, the tour was taken in a small group which made it more personable. I’m not a whiskey drinker but converted. A lovely addition to our day out ❤️
Response from the operator: Ah sure, thanks a million for the amazing review! ❤️ We’re delighted you had such a memorable experience at Roe & Co — and even left as a whiskey convert! 🥃 A big shoutout to Tim! Lovely distillery (but poor guide)
The distillery and tour were lovely and so was the staff although our tour guide was unhelpful and sfaccato and delivered the fascinating information in a bored and deadpan way.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the distillery, the tour, and the rest of our team. At the same time, we're sorry to learn that your experience with the tour guide didn't match the high standard we aim to provide. Our tours should be engaging, informative, and welcoming, so we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We would value the opportunity to learn more about your visit and discuss your experience further. Please feel free to email us at hello@roeandcowhiskey.com with the date and time of your tour, and we'll be happy to look into this for you. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable experience in the future.

Five star experience at Roe and Co
A Masterclass in Whiskey Hospitality: An Unforgettable Afternoon at Roe & Co Dublin’s historic Liberties district has no shortage of whiskey heritage, but the Roe & Co Distillery sets a new, contemporary gold standard for the modern guest experience. Housed in the beautifully repurposed, iconic Guinness Power House, this vibrant urban distillery seamlessly fuses architectural industrial chic with world-class hospitality. From the second you cross the threshold, it is entirely evident that this operation values creativity, consumer engagement, and an uncompromising dedication to impeccable customer service. Our visit was anchored by an absolutely superlative distillery tour and interactive workshop led by Isobel, who proved to be an exceptional guide. Her deep technical knowledge of the distillation process was matched only by her infectious enthusiasm and engaging presentation style. Far from a dry recitation of historical dates, Isobel brought the rich narrative of Irish whiskey to life, effortlessly navigating everything from the mechanics of the copper pot stills to the nuances of maturation. The undisputed highlight of the production tour was the hands-on cocktail-making masterclass. Isobel expertly guided us through the foundational mechanics of mixology, explaining how the specific flavor profiles of Roe & Co’s signature premium blended Irish whiskey interact with various components. The balance of the blend—with its rich vanilla smoothness, vibrant pear fruitiness, and subtle spiced undertones—serves as a magnificent canvas for cocktail design. Under her watchful eye, we experimented with flavor balancing, turning premium spirits into bespoke liquid art. The sensory journey reached its peak during the post-tour tasting session in their spectacular, design-forward cocktail lounge. Here, we were served a truly outstanding, custom strawberry-based cocktail crafted with Roe & Co's own blended whiskey. The drink was a revelation: the bright, summer sweetness of the fresh strawberry perfectly complemented the robust, silky grain and malt layers of the whiskey. It was an incredibly sophisticated demonstration of how beautifully a modern Irish blend can elevate contemporary fruit-forward mixology. However, what truly elevates Roe & Co from a great attraction to an unforgettable destination is the peerless quality of its post-tour guest relations. After the tour concluded, we spent time exploring the distillery store, where the incredible customer care continued seamlessly. Grant, the master engraver on-site, provided an outstanding level of personalized service that went far above and beyond expectations. His precision, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine pride in his craft turned a standard retail keepsake into a treasured, highly personalized memento of our journey. Grant’s warmth was mirrored by every single member of the floor and distillery team we encountered throughout the afternoon. Each interaction was characterized by genuine Irish hospitality, effortless professionalism, and a desire to ensure our visit was flawless. For anyone looking to experience the absolute pinnacle of Dublin's modern whiskey renaissance, Roe & Co is a non-negotiable must-visit. Between Isobel’s masterful mixology guidance and Grant’s flawless craftsmanship, this distillery delivers a truly premier, five-star guest experience.
Response from the operator: Ah sure, thanks a million for such an incredible and thoughtful review Alan! ❤️ Reading your experience truly made our day. A huge shoutout to Isobel and Grant—we'll be absolutely delighted to share your wonderful words with them. It's fantastic to hear that Isobel's knowledge and passion brought the distillery experience to life, and that Grant's craftsmanship and personal touch made your visit even more memorable. Knowing our team's hospitality left such a lasting impression means the world to us. Thank you for recommending Roe & Co so highly and for capturing what we're all about so beautifully. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Liberties for another unforgettable whiskey adventure. Sláinte!

Why this scores 93
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Roe & Co Distillery Experiences: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Roe & Co Distillery Experiences cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Roe & Co Distillery Experiences take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Roe & Co Distillery Experiences worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1,176 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Roe & Co Distillery Experiences?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Roe & Co Distillery Experiences suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Roe & Co Distillery Experiences?
+
Around 412 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Roe & Co Distillery Experiences start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
