Our guide was knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. Kept things moving without rushing. Pointed out photo spots, answered questions patiently. This route perfectly showcases Detroit's charm as a "museum of architecture." One of the highlights was the Guardian Building. Stepping inside this Art Deco masterpiece and seeing its stunning tiles and grand hall in person – the impact is something photos just can't capture. This guy knows Detroit. Our Guide Mr.Kashem He worked very hard for us. It was our first time in Detroit, but thanks to his thorough guidance, we were able to learn about Detroit's history. We are very grateful. A Little Disappointed in Detroit
Kashem was a very nice man, but he was incredibly difficult to understand. Also he didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the architecture and history of Detroit. I was disappointed. He was however, well intentioned and seems to want to improve. He was very generous when we had accidentally booked the tour for June 6th but intended to book it for July 6th. He said no problem, and allowed us to show up today with no penalty. I wish him the best.

We had an excellent tour with Kashem. He was highly knowledgeable about Detroit’s architecture and history, sharing fascinating insights that truly brought the city to life. The two-hour tour was well-paced and thoughtfully organized, making great use of time while covering many important landmarks. Kashem also introduced us to hidden gems we would never have found on our own, which made the experience even more memorable. For anyone new to Detroit and looking to learn about the city while getting oriented, I would highly recommend this tour.
