Great visit to Transylvania
Excellent itinerary. Excellent guide with good knowledge. Diana (our guide) was very responsive to our needs - good driver - gave us information outside of the tour when we asked. We would definitely do a tour with her again.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the itinerary and appreciated Diana’s knowledge, flexibility, and attentive approach throughout the tour. It is also great to know that you felt comfortable with her driving and valued the additional information she shared whenever you had questions. We will be very happy to pass your kind feedback on to her. Thank you again for travelling with us. We would be delighted to welcome you on another tour with Diana in the future!

From Bucharest in Transylvania in 2 days
Our first private tour and we were delighted with the experience. The tour was fast-paced, which was fine for us - be ready at 8 am. We saw so much more than if we would have tried it on our own. We were lucky to have a friendly guide, Michael. He was knowledgeable and entertaining, with excellent driving skills. Our plan of visiting Romania during COVID-19 end well, and I hope to discover more in the next years.

Great Trip, Efficient Arrangements
We had arranged a custom pickup and had a few personal tweaks to the standard itineraries. All arrangements for our four-night tour we're as planned. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and informative. Highly recommended.

Alot in a short amount of time
Highly recommended for anyone going to Romania. If you're short on time or just want to see alot, this tour is the best way to go. The guide, Manuel, was absolutely amazing. He was very personable and extremely enthusiastic the whole time and knew the best of the best sites. He took the time to get to know the both of us and made sure we were comfortable the entire trip. Again, can't recommend this, or him, enough.
Response from the operator: Good day, Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review! We are glad that you loved our services and Manuel. We take pride in giving outstanding service every customer and we're overjoyed to receive your compliments and appreciation! Warmest regards, Ioana

Nice exeperience in Transylvania
If you were drawn to the fairy tales and the romantic road this tour will be great for you. Everything went very smoothly due to our tour guide (Chris) work and attention to detail. Accommodation in Sighisoara was nice, clean and safe.
Response from the operator: Good day! Thank you for choosing Rolandia to visit Romania! We couldn't be more happy about our work if we did not have all these great guests! Regards from Romania!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bucharest.
How much does Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey cost?
+
Prices start at $670 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bucharest usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bucharest is not rushed.
Is Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bucharest, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in a 2-Day Journey start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bucharest within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bucharest?
+
On Outty we rank every Bucharest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Real tour of Communism, Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour, Top Gear Road, Small-group max 7 pax with Pick-up, Transfăgărăşan. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bucharest?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bucharest?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
