    Amazing trail ride

Amazing trail ride with beautiful Grand Teton views! Our lead guide, Jeremiah, was fantastic and did a great job engaging everyone and sharing interesting information about the area. Austin was also a wonderful guide. The whole experience was memorable and we highly recommend Heart 6 Ranch!

    Great Horseback Riding Adventure

Our family had a wonderful experience on the horseback ride and cookout. Everything was well organized from the start, and the staff made us feel welcome. Our wrangler ( I believe his name was Clint) was excellent, patient, friendly, and attentive, ensuring everyone felt comfortable throughout the ride. As first-time riders, we weren’t sure what to expect, but it was perfect. The horses were calm and well-trained, and the pace suited both beginners and experienced riders. The 90-minute ride flew by, and the scenery along the trail was absolutely beautiful. I really appreciated our wrangler taking a moment to line up our horses to take a family photo with the mountains in the background. The cookout afterward was a great finish. The food was delicious, and it was relaxing to enjoy a meal after the ride, rounding out the Western experience. Overall, the value was exceptional, and the combination of great staff, stunning scenery, a smooth ride, and a tasty cookout made it an extraordinary night to remember. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable horseback adventure.

    Great adventure!

My wife and I did the dinner cookout ride while visiting the area for our ten year anniversary, what a great experience! There were 10 riders in the group with Rebekah our guide in front. They were pretty efficient at getting everyone mounted on the horses, briefed, and ready to go. The views along the way were stunning and they stopped at a great location to take pictures of my wife and I with the Tetons as the backdrop. After the ride, dinner was waiting for us. They did not skimp on the food, there's no way you would leave there hungry! After eating, we got to watch them move the horses from the stables area, down the road to the open pasture. Watching the horses enter the field and run free with the mountains in the distance was pretty spectacular. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!!

    Highly recommend!

Such an incredible way to spend the evening! Our guide Kayley took us on a beautiful trail that opened to stunning views of the valley. The horses were all so sweet and the absolute best part was seeing what felt like 100 of them released into the ranch to roam freely after our rides. Dinner was very good too! My family made memories for a lifetime and would definitely do it again.

    Great horseback ride/cookout

My son and I had a wonderful ride followed by some of the best food we had on our week long trip to the GT and Yellowstone area. Our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly!

Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson Hole.

How much does Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch cost?

    +

Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson Hole usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson Hole is not rushed.

Is Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson Hole, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson Hole can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson Hole and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson Hole within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jackson Hole?

    +

Jackson Hole is wildlife-first: sunrise safaris for moose, bison and bears in Grand Teton, Snake River floats, Yellowstone day trips and winter sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge. Guide experience and optics quality separate the wildlife tours. On Outty we rank every Jackson Hole experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Snake River Scenic Float, 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park, Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jackson Hole?

    +

June to September for hiking and floats, December to March for snow. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jackson Hole?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
