Great experience here would definitely return !

The experience was very nice. We did the VIP experience had a Cabana and our own private waiter. The drinks were good (strong) and the lunch was ok. The beach was clean and the water was stunning. I would book again. My only issue is since we were there for only a few hours (due to our needing to return to cruise ship) that I wish we could have spent more time there. I wasn’t sure if our VIP ticket included the water park but the private beach is a little ways from the park. Other than that it was great. We didn’t do the included activities but we did book a banana boat ride that was fun

Delightful and restful day at the beautiful beach!

Getting there from the Port is expensive - $35 taxi each way - no negotiating. Depending on your package, it's is all inclusive for food and drinks and towels. We purchased the VIP beach package. The beach was clean and there were plenty of umbrellas and casitas. The water is amazing but plan to bring beach shoes as it is rocky right at the shore. Service was great - plan to tip the server (mention ahead of time or start with a small tip to insure you get the fastest service. The server has to split his tip with the bartender and all others - so tip accordingly).

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a detailed review packed with practical tips for future visitors. 🌊 We understand your comment about the cost of the taxi from the port with no room for negotiation; it's a reality of local transportation that we appreciate you sharing so other visitors can better plan their budget. We're so glad to hear that, with the VIP beach package, you enjoyed everything included—food, drinks, and towels—and that the beach was clean with plenty of umbrellas and casitas available. Thank you also for the tip about bringing water shoes, since the shore can feel rocky—that's really helpful information for those planning their visit. We're thrilled the service was great, and we appreciate you explaining how the tipping dynamic works between the server and the rest of the team (bartenders and others); it's a valuable clarification so visitors know how to better support the whole team that makes the experience possible. Thank you for such thorough feedback! We hope to welcome you back again soon for more special VIP experiences like this one. 🏖️

    Beautiful but so over priced

The facility is beautiful, the staff are nice, but it is too expensive. The waterpark should absolutely be included in the VIP package. We would never book an excursion like this outside of Disney due to the price and the hassle paying the taxi driver.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're glad you found the facilities beautiful and the staff kind, though we're sorry the price-to-value relationship didn't meet your expectations this time. We're taking your suggestion that the water park should be included in the VIP package seriously; it's a valid point that helps us keep evaluating what's included at each package tier so the perceived value is clearer from the start. We also understand the hassle of having to handle payment to the taxi driver separately, and that this influenced your preference for booking excursions through other means, like Disney. Thank you for your honesty; it helps us review both our pricing structure and the logistical experience around the visit.

    Will Not Return

The food & drinks are terrible. The water park is okay. Zipline is ok. Palancar Beach is beautiful. Save money and go to Palancar Beach Club next door.

Response from the operator: Dear 929vijayj Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your honest comments regarding your visit. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the beauty of Palancar Beach and found some of the attractions, including the water park and zipline, enjoyable. However, we are truly sorry that the food and beverage offerings did not meet your expectations. Providing fresh, high-quality meals and drinks is a priority, and we regret that your experience fell short. Your comments have been shared with our food and beverage team for review and improvement. Feedback like yours helps us identify opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your insights, and we hope to have the opportunity to deliver a much better experience in the future. Best Regards

    Skip overpriced, frustrating Kuza

We visited Kuza during our MSC cruise stop in Cozumel, and unfortunately it ended up being one of the most disappointing excursions we’ve ever done. We spent well over $500 for our family, and by the time everything was said and done, we had less than four hours to actually enjoy the park. The first thing prospective cruise passengers should know is that Kuza is about a 25–30 minute drive from the cruise port. If your ship has an early all-aboard time (ours was 3:15 PM), your available time at the park is much shorter than you might expect once you factor in transportation and check-in. We purchased one of the highest-tier packages because we specifically wanted our kids to experience the zip lines. After arriving, we discovered there is a 99-pound minimum weight requirement. Two of our three children didn’t meet that requirement, making a major part of the package unusable for our family. We asked if we could receive a refund for that portion before we realized we also didn’t have closed-toe shoes (we did overlook that requirement ourselves, so that’s on us). Instead of simply explaining our options, we were asked to fill out a form describing the situation and then told to follow up through WhatsApp. It felt like requesting help was treated as an inconvenience. The park Wi-Fi barely worked during our visit. When we asked for assistance, we were simply directed back to the front entrance to deal with it. Even more disappointing, only two of the four water slides were operating the day we visited. Considering the admission price, having half of the major attractions unavailable was frustrating. The “unlimited food and drinks” included with our package was also misleading. Bottled water was not included. Drinks were served in plastic cups from the bar, and the 7UP we received tasted noticeably off. When we mentioned it, the response was essentially that if we wanted something better, we could purchase a canned soda for an additional $3. Food service was another letdown. Although there are multiple buffet and dining areas throughout the beach, only one location was open during our visit, and it happened to be at the opposite end of the property. That meant about a 10-minute walk each way just to grab lunch. The food itself wasn’t impressive either. We ordered chips and salsa and received a small dish with roughly ten chips and what was essentially pico de gallo rather than salsa. The constant attempts to sell us additional products and services throughout the day also became exhausting. It felt like every few minutes someone was trying to sell something else instead of simply letting families relax and enjoy their vacation. There were a couple of positives. The beach itself is beautiful, and we genuinely enjoyed renting a jet ski. However, even that experience left a bad taste because the advertised price was $99 for 30 minutes, but we were ultimately charged $130. For comparison, we rented a jet ski in Roatán for $70. Overall, Kuza simply did not deliver an experience that justified its price. Between the limited time available for cruise passengers, closed attractions, confusing package limitations, disappointing food, extra charges, poor Wi-Fi, and customer service that often felt indifferent, we left feeling like we had spent a lot of money for very little value. We won’t be returning. If we visit Cozumel again, we’ll skip Kuza and simply spend the day at one of the island’s beaches. We’ll likely have just as much fun, spend significantly less money, and avoid a lot of frustration.

Response from the operator: Dear Jlee1987 Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed account of your visit. We are truly sorry to learn that your experience at Kuza did not meet the expectations you had for your family during your stop in Cozumel. We understand how disappointing it must have been to feel that the time available at the park was limited after transportation and cruise scheduling were taken into account. We also regret the frustration caused by the zip line eligibility requirements, the process you encountered when seeking assistance, and the challenges related to Wi-Fi connectivity during your visit. Additionally, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of having only a portion of the water slides operating that day, as well as for your dissatisfaction with the food and beverage offerings. We understand how these factors can significantly impact the overall value and enjoyment of the experience, especially when traveling with family. We are also concerned to learn about your perceptions regarding customer service and the frequency of additional sales offers throughout the property. Providing a welcoming, enjoyable, and relaxing environment for our guests is a priority, and your feedback helps us identify areas where we need to improve. At the same time, we appreciate you highlighting the positive aspects of your visit, including the beauty of the beach and your enjoyment of the jet ski experience. We regret, however, that concerns regarding pricing and other aspects of your day overshadowed those moments. Your comments have been shared with our management team for review as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the guest experience. We value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to learn from it. Thank you again for visiting Kuza and for providing such thoughtful feedback. We wish you and your family many enjoyable travels ahead. Best Regards

Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park cost?

    +

Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 144 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park?

    +

Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cozumel: VIP Access Pass at KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
