Scam, felt very unsafe, the barcode you get from trip advisor is not your park entrance ticket. Avoid!

The ecological park was good. Booking it through tripadvisor was terrible. Avoid at all costs. You get a barcode that then tells you that you need to travel into town to get your ecological park ticket. We ended up at a sketchy rental car store with a guy who needed to make a few calls before taking our photos and then giving us tickets. We felt very unsafe, its in a small garage and a scam. They charged us an additional $2/person cash we paid just so we could leave. so the cost is basically the same as ordering at the park gate.

Great price for entry to punta sur

Punta sur is the prettiest beach on Cozumel. The pass allowed us to get in for a cheaper price but doesnt give you anything else.

A very disappointing excursion. Buyer beware.

I don’t know where to start. First of all, the excursion was nowhere near the port. There was no indication in the excursion information that said you needed to take a taxi to the pick up point. We got a taxi for an extra $15.00 each way only to discover that you could not drive to the location due to road construction. The street where we were to meet was one way and closed off and in a very seedy part of town. The taxi driver told us he could drop us off at the end of the street and we could walk to the pick up point but we had no idea where we were and there was a torrential downpour at the time we were driving there. I never got a message from the company operator or anyone involved with this excursion. We were really looking forward to a day at the park and being able to get some snorkeling in. But that was all a bust. We ended up going back to the ship and spent our day poolside. I will tell everybody looking to book this excursion through Viator to beware. There was definitely something shady going on here. And I do expect to have my money refunded because of this.

Great park, leave early to have enough time!

The park was what is promised. A nature reserve. We've seen crocodiles and great beaches. The lighthouse in the middle of it has been a great highlight with views. Unfortunately, we only had about 3 hours, which was not enough to see the park with everything. Too bad, but desease the tip: start early.

    Wonderful day at Punta Sur

It was a beautiful day at the beach. The water was so warm and inviting. Food and service at the beach restaurant was fantastic and a beach massage was perfect.

Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cozumel: Day in Punta Sur Eco Park and Del Cielo Beach with Snorkeling start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
