Tour of Cozumel

There were 6 of us in the group. The yellow buggy's brake lights were not working. The tour guide was riding with us driving the red buggy. We wanted to drive it ourselves. The guide got us a green enclosed Jeep like vehicle instead. A very strong burning rubber or oil smell was in the entire time. Every red light alert was on the vehicle dashboard as we drove. It was obvious the vehicles are not maintained well at all. We did not feel safe on this excursion due to the quality of the vehicles. We did like seeing the lighthouse and crocodiles.

Guided buggy island tour with lunch and snorkel.

Hotel pick up at 8:30 am and back at about 3:45. Our guide, Sosa, was great. He stopped on our route several times to point out beautiful scenery, beaches and stopping for pictures. The tequila, honey and chocolate tastings were fun but expensive to purchase. Punta Sur was interesting. We didn't spend much time in the small museum or climb the lighthouse steps as we wanted plenty of time to snorkel. The restaurant's lunch was delicious and included in the tour, but we added guacamole, chips and 2 margaritas. Large drinks and the guacamole were really good but that appetizer and 2 drinks was $50 USD. Would recommend this tour. Thank you Sosa for a great tour.

How long does Cozumel Buggy Island Tour with Snorkel and Lunch take?

+

Is Cozumel Buggy Island Tour with Snorkel and Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel Buggy Island Tour with Snorkel and Lunch?

+

Is Cozumel Buggy Island Tour with Snorkel and Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Cozumel Buggy Island Tour with Snorkel and Lunch?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cozumel Buggy Island Tour with Snorkel and Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

+

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
