    Cute attraction but brief

The tour itself is quite slight and short in duration, to appreciate how beautiful the Caribbean Sea of Cozumel is, although we already knew, we would have liked it to last 1hs longer. A nice attraction

=) Saludos, Guido. ParaViajantes Riviera Maya

    Unprofessional, horrible customer service

My friends and I were excited for this excursion until we were met with an obscene amount of micro aggression and unprofessionalism. I wish I got the name of the two clearboat operators but I know one was a woman and the other a man. Someone in our group dropped their phone in the water as everyone was boarding the boat and both employees refused to help us get the phone back. Ironically, the phone was still visible at the bottom of the clear waters and only 3-5 feet below where we were standing to board. The woman operator was condescending and said there were federal rules that prevented anyone from entering the water (which we later found to be a lie, after all it was a snorkeling excursion). As we were asking for help locating someone who WAS authorized to enter the water, or even someone who had a tool that could grab the $1500 phone since we weren’t allowed to do so, the boat operator said there was nothing to be done and left the 3 of us at the dock. The rest of the dock workers we spoke to refused to give us ways forward unless we paid them extra money in USD. No one would take the matter seriously unless they were tipped to care. Unfortunately, this was yet another example of how money-hungry and rude these tourist attraction operators are. My friends and I are set on never returning to Cozumel again based on the passive aggressive behaviors we experienced all throughout our stay - most likely because of where we came from. Would NOT recommend.

Response from the operator: We regret the loss of your cell phone, but we, as a service company, must offer the service that other passengers, like you, paid for, and should have been provided. We cannot delay 10 more people waiting for you until you recover one of your belongings. It is a little respect to the rest of the passengers who paid for the tour, and who have their own commitments. Like going back to their cruise ship, or whatever. It is not a private tour. It is regular, which are met and respected schedules. If there are laws that must be respected in Cozumel, and you do not understand it, it is your problem. We hope that the next time you come back, you will have more respect for the workers, and for the other passengers who pay the same as everyone else, and pretend to do the tour normally, as it should be done!

Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Clearboat in Cozumel with Snorkel and Refreshments start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
