Fantastic Cottswolds and Clarksons Farm day trip

After looking at many Clarksons Farm and Cottswolds Day trip options from London i chose this one and am so glad I did. It was worth paying a touch more for the private tour which offered a hybrid option with both Clarksons farm locations as well as popular Cottswolds spots. Our tour guide Christopher was a self confessed history nut who shared his extensive knowledge of the Cottswolds and was happy to work with us to cover places we specifically wanted to go as well as offering options he considered worth while. A bonus was Christopher is an ex producer with Top Gear so he had the bonus of extra knowledge of Clarkson and TG crew and entertained us with many fun stories of their antics. The vehicle a Mercedes passenger van was very comfortable for the long day out and Christopher collected us from our Zone 1 London hotel as well as dropped up back. I am glad I hadn't booked anything for that night as it is a generous full day fillled with exploring, fun facts, light walking, and photo opportunities. We especially enjoyed having a drink at Clarksons Hawkstone Brewery and Farm Shop. Thank you Christopher for a fabulous your!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re really pleased you enjoyed the mix of Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds. Christopher certainly enjoyed sharing a few stories from his Top Gear days along the way! It sounds like you made the most of the day, and we’re delighted the flexibility of the private tour meant we could include the places you wanted to see. A drink at Hawkstone Brewery is a pretty good way to finish a day out! Thanks again for choosing Tour Britannia — we’d love to see you back for another adventure.

Highly recommend this fantastic hybrid Cotswolds & Clarksons Farm tour

We had a fantastic day out with our guide Christopher touring the Cotswolds and various Clarkson Farm sites. We were picked up from our London hotel in a very comfortable Mercedes passenger van. Christopher is a self confessed history nut who has also lived in the Cotswolds so his knowledge of the area and our day out was very in depth. As we booked a private tour we were able to tweak the day based on Christopher's experience and suggestions. We especially enjoyed Christopher's stories from his time spent with the Top Gear cast and crew which overlapped with Clarksons Farm local stories. It is a long day filled with sights and stops so I am glad I didn't plan anything for our evening back in London. This is a must do tour and definitely worth the price.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a fantastic review! We’re really pleased you enjoyed your day exploring the Cotswolds and the various Clarkson’s Farm locations. It sounds like Christopher managed to combine two of your interests rather well — the history and character of the Cotswolds alongside the Clarkson’s Farm story! Being able to tailor the day is one of the things we love about our private tours, and having a guide who has lived in the Cotswolds and knows the area so well makes a big difference. We’re also glad you enjoyed Christopher’s behind-the-scenes stories. Our guides love sharing these little inside stories and personal experiences along the way. We think it’s one of the things that really makes a Tour Britannia day stand out — it’s not just about seeing the sights, but hearing the stories that bring them to life. Thank you again for recommending us and for choosing Tour Britannia. We’d love to have you out exploring Britain with us again sometime — there’s plenty more to discover.

    Fantastic

Christopher was amazing and provided us with the best experience we could have had. He was engaged in conversation with the entire family and confidently answered the questions of the kids and adults in our group. He is knowledgeable and his professional background make made him the absolute best tour guide we could have asked for to lead our tour of Clarkson’s farm and the associated areas of the Cotswolds. The van he shuttled us in was also first class travel to and from the Cotswolds.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re really pleased to hear that the whole family had such a great day with Christopher exploring Clarkson’s Farm locations and the Cotswolds. Christopher will be delighted to hear your kind words. His inside knowledge and experience really do bring something special to this tour, and it’s great to know that both the adults and kids enjoyed the day. Thanks again for choosing Tour Britannia and for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We hope to see you again one day!

Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London cost?

    +

Prices start at $1,344 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour, Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London?

    +

Included: On-board WiFi; In-vehicle air conditioning; and Multiple USB charging points. Not included: Meals; and Hawkstone Brewery tour. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London include hotel pickup?

    +

What languages is Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London?

    +

Is Clarkson’s Farm and the Cotswolds Private Tour from London wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +
