Chessington - still got it!
Went with the family; children 5 and 2. We went for the new Paw Patrol World and it didn’t let us down. Lots of activities and entertainment to keep the children excited throughout the two days. The hotel is extremely child friendly, with Chase coming to see the children in the hotel. Fantastic dinner and then breakfast in the restaurant and very appreciative of the extra hour in the park, before the rest of the public enter.

Good but needs a refresh
We went mainly for Paw Patrol Land but found other rides we were able to get on, Gruffalo ride and Log Flume etc. We used the 25% off with the cereal packet and some Tesco points to keep the admission price low otherwise it would have been over £100 for a family for 3! We did have a nice day out but the park does feel a little tired, not enough staff, two rides broke down whilst we were in the queue and the balance of main queue to fast track passes isn’t that well managed on each ride, queues are long if no pass! The most disappointing part was the car park £16 for the day in a field. Surely that should be included in the ticket price? Take your own snacks and lunch as the price of food is expensive. We got on all rides my son wanted to go on with the longest wait on the paw patrol roller coaster at 1 hour. Ride quality is good and lots of variety for adults and kids but just feel the theme park has lost its spark and perhaps needs a bit of investment to compete with the likes of Paultons Park and Legoland.

Some good rides but so many negatives
Overall we had a fun day out with the family and enjoyed the rides we got on to BUT…… queuing from one to two hours for virtually all rides in a very hot day and no shade was torture. There should be water points along the queuing routes and there should be shade… better still a new system to avoid the awful waiting times. Also, I agree with some of your other reviewers … the environment is grubby, needs a complete clean out and redecorating! The bins were overflowing in a lot of places and there was a substantial amount of litter, gum etc. the food in the fried chicken fast food was ghastly, cold and chips were chewy. Most of the staff were pleasant but some clearly went through the motions of … have a good day… but it didn’t reflect in their voice or face. The fast track is useful but so expensive. By the end of the day the toilets we used were filthy. Toilet paper all over the floor and very smelly. I will not be in a hurry to return.

Queue jumping from the usual suspects
Another example of how society is changing. There are cultures where queueing isn’t for them, and at Chessington they pretend to be on their phone as they push past others who play by the rules. This is what England is becoming and I’m not paying £100’s to watch it happen. The number of arguments I got in was more than rides we rode! And they’re like Teflon, nothing sticks, and they don’t care.

Some nice moments but not worth the queue times or the money.
It was just OK...It would have been a much nicer experience if the park wasn't over booked (we literally heard the staff saying the park was overbooked by half capacity). We instantly realised we would need fast passes to make the most of the day (not cheap!). There were really long queues for even the small rides (not worth the wait). Numerous ride breakdowns. We waited 50 mins for Dragon's Fury, only then to be told the ride was closed due to a malfunction. They did give us a free fast pass ticket for this, but everyone flocked from this ride to Mandrill Mayhem, so the fast pass queue was really long too... My youngest child did enjoy Paw Patrol land. Overall, some nice moments but not worth the queue times or the money. We won't be returning any time soon.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 3,891 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket?
+
Around 1,362 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chessington World of Adventures Resort Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
