The best experience!
Shoor Safaris were brilliant and I highly recommend them, they were so helpful prior to the tour, Joy was in regular contact dealing with all the questions I had, they arranged with Base camp to accommodate my husbands medical device and helped us secure a land cruiser for my sons birthday. Our guide, George, was fantastic and we got to see every animal, my son adored him and is still talking about him after we have got home! Shoor and the people who work for them made it the trip of a lifetime, not a single thing went wrong, everything was a high standard and I can’t thank them enough for all they did to make it so special, a fantastic, professional organisation with great staff.

Awesome experience
My trip to 🇰🇪Masai Mara was filled with unforgettable moments, but the game drives truly stood out! I was absolutely thrilled to spot the big 5; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Witnessing these magnificent animals in their natural habitat was so exhilarating! Each game drive brought new excitement and chances to observe incredible wildlife. The beauty of the landscape and the thrill of the chase made this journey an epic adventure. I'll treasure these memories forever, especially the game drives!.

Excellent few days in Nairobi
Shoor Safaris provided excellent service from Jane and team planning with me leading up to my trip, to the efficiency and reliability of having one of their drivers take me to all the different spots I wanted to see: Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Maasai market, Kazuri beads, Utamaduni craft market etc. I only had a few days in Nairobi but they were good days. Peter was my driver and he was punctual, professional and very welcoming and friendly. This is the second time I have used Shoor Safaris and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future.

Magnificent safari
What can we say but thank you, Shoor safari! You made our visit at Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara an unforgettable adventure. Everything went smooth, thanks to you. Picked up safely at the airport and returned at our hotel in Nairobi after five fantastic days. Our driver, Peter, was very pleasant and a fantastic guide doing the whole trip. His knowledge, interst and excitement of the animals were very impressive. We can highly recommend Shoor Safaries.

Memorable trip in Kenya with Shoor safari and our guide
Excellent experience with Shoor safari ! The van was confortable and always clean. Our guide, Joseph, was cheerful, full of interesting stories and always on time. He seemed to have a special link with the guide community, which he called his family. During the whole trip, he did not hesitate to share his advices regarding our planification and was eager to share his knowledges (spotting animals and wildlife). He took very good care of us and made our safari trip incredible !

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Car Hire in Nairobi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Car Hire in Nairobi cost?
+
Prices start at $369 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Car Hire in Nairobi take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Car Hire in Nairobi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Car Hire in Nairobi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Car Hire in Nairobi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Car Hire in Nairobi?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Car Hire in Nairobi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
