Capri

It was a large ferry style boat with approximately 100 people on board and the trip around the island was beautiful but the tour guide on the boat gave us very little information, very dull. Also when booking it said we had 5.5 hours on the island of Capri but we had less than 4 hours. We didn’t have much time to do anything but we did take chair lift to top and had lunch that was basically all we had time for.

Don’t buy this tour, terrible customer service experience.

I haven’t gone on the tour yet but the instructions and communication to find the meeting point is absolutely terrible. We just arrived at the meeting location after asking The booking information for the tour will tell you one location to meet at. Then there is a different wt location to meet at within a message that is sent through trip advisor. I would recommend just buying a public ferry transport for 1/4 of the price. I would strongly advise against purchasing this tour. And once your tour guide meets you there are still no clear instructions. Just follow other people with the same color bracelets.

Poor

We arrived at port as instructed, no mention on booking we had to go to ticket office, queue and check in for a wrist band, we thought the tickets we had were enough. The boat was dirty, I had black marks on my trousers, hands and arms from leaning on railing. We sat outside and could not hear any information so no idea what was happening or what we were seeing. We pulled into Capri harbour to pull back out again and go round coast, unsure why. When we finally arrived at Capri it was 13.30 and was told to be back at boat 30 minutes before departure, which was 17.00 hours, this gave us 3 hours on Capri, not the 5 hours we thought we were getting. The boat man said we pick you up over there and pointed to a stone pillar. We looked round Capri, no complaints there, on arrival back at port we waited at the meeting place as did everyone else to end up boarding the ferry at 5 o'clock as our boat was nowhere to be seen.

Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.

How much does Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island cost?

+

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.

Is Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Capri Mini Cruise with Swimming Stop and Free Time on the Island start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

+

On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sorrento?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
