The most amazing private boat trip !!!
We had the most amazing day with Anna and Cotello (Captain) on a private tour of Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Anna is an incredible host and made this one of the most memorable days of our holiday. She has a wonderful ability to make everyone feel genuinely cared for, while bringing out the best in those around her. We were also so fortunate to have Cotello as our captain. Together, he and Anna showed us some beautiful and memorable places around Capri and the Amalfi Coast, making the whole experience feel effortless, personal and full of fun. It was a day we will always treasure. Anna is incredibly warm, friendly and generous, and I can honestly say you will have the time of your life with this wonderful team. Thank you, Anna and Cotello, for an unforgettable day !!!

Amazing private boat tour to Capri! The best day of our time in Italy.
We had an amazing full day boat tour to Capri from Sorrento with our guide Anna and Captain Catello. We were picked up directly from our hotel in Sorrento and driven to the Marina where we met our boat and guide for the day. Anna was full of energy and pointed out all the amazing and beautiful sites around the island of Capri. She seemed to know everybody and was able to expedite our tour of the Blue Grotto (saving us from a very long wait) and arranged an amazing lunch for us overlooking the water on Capri. She knew the owners of the restaurant and saved us from having to pay the usual docking fee in Capri. Lunch was incredible and then she guided us around the island and arranged transportation up to Ana Capri where we found all the shopping we were looking for! Captain Catello guided the boat for us in and out of private caves and gave us plenty of opportunities to swim in secluded areas that we would have never seen had we used the public ferry service to Capri. It was without doubt the best day we spent in Italy! The boat was beautiful and they served us drinks and fresh snacks throughout the day. Anna even picked up some delicious desserts from a bakery in Capri that we enjoyed on our way back to Sorrento. Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Capri.

Family day taking private boat for
Gennaro and Raphael were amazing. They made sure we got to see everything we wanted to, and Gennaro was so knowledgeable and personable telling us all about the island and Italy. I highly recommend this pair as your guides, and the beautiful boat was amazing as well.

Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.
How much does Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples cost?
+
Prices start at $158 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.
Is Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 129 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples?
+
Around 45 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Capri Private Boat Day Tour from Sorrento, Positano or Naples start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Positano?
+
On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
