Boat, swim, Capri, prosecco what more can you ask for.

A wonderful full day including boat excursion, 2 swimming sessions, time on Capri to do what you want and a full tour of the whole island, grottos. The driver and tour guide were both very friendly. There were 12 total on the boat for our trip. Easy to find at Positano dock, with notification and instructions from the tour company before your trip. We were supposed to snorkel but did not. I think if you asked for the equipment though you could have at either swim stop. They gave out melon, prosecco and limocello during the boat ride. At Capri you can choose what you want to do for about 3 hours. We had enough time to take a bus to Anacapri at go up the gondola and spend some time at the top, return, see some shops and grab a quick bite to eat. The buses were really easy to navigate. Note: we had booked during a day where the weather was questionable. We started our trip but turned back about 30 min in due to an approaching storm. You had the option to rebook or full refund. They still served us prosecco on the way back. Very good trustworthy service.

    you won’t regret it!

truly a phenomenal experience, we went on May 20 and the water was perfect (for reference, we are from New jersey, US, where the ocean is usually 60 degrees Fahrenheit or less - so this was way warmer!). Our guides were awesome, they showed us the important sights but didn’t linger too long. the boat was gorgeous too. they took pictures for us on the stern of the boat at the most incredible spots and took many shots so we could make sure we found at least one we liked!! it does get chilly with the wind so bring a layer! we were nervous about doing a small group tour but we got so lucky with our group and made friends with everyone on it, and actually ended up being glad we did a group instead of private! best experience ever!

    +

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Positano?

    +

On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Positano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Positano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
