Adventure and Beauty
The outdoor tour company was so great! The canyoning was as beautiful as it was exciting and adventurous. We had never gone climbing before so the repelling was a little challenging but in a great way. Our tour guides were awesome!! Swiss travel tours transported us to Interlaken. Not a lot happening in this town, But if you take a walk around and find a nice spot to eat, and stop for hot chocolate you can use all your free time and enjoy ! In town there is a beautiful park with an amazing view of the mountains that has pargliders coming down into it. Canyoning 12/10!! Interlaken itself is a little sleeper, but the tour company and transport was so great and effortless. Overall a great day and worth the money.

Fun and Physical Adventure
This adventure is an absolute thrill! They give you all the gear (plus shoes) and there is a guide to adventurer ratio of 4:1. The water is freezing but with three layers of wetsuit, a life vest and a harness, you don’t really get cold. There is some uphill hiking in and out but it’s a full body workout and the best way to get into nature in Switzerland! After you conquer the canyons and rapids, there’s a drink waiting at the bar in the shop. Wonderful guides - safe and fun! I never felt like I was doing something risky or dangerous. Would absolutely do it again!!

Don’t book through Co- horribly organized
The canyoning itself was super fun but the organization of this trip was awful!! The bus takes the majority of the people to another tour so they just drop you off with the canyoning company (which was an amazing company). However, we didn’t make it in time for the 10:00 am activity so we had to wait around until 12:30 pm. That would’ve been fine if there was any other activity we could do while waiting. All other activities needed at least 2 hours and would be cutting short on time. Then we got done at 3:30 and the bus did not come back for us until 5:45. So you had to just sit around again and again it was not enough time to do any other activity. I would not have minded waiting around for 4 hours with no guide or no activity planned IF it was all at once. We would’ve just want paragliding then. You’d be better off just taking the train and doing the canyoning and taking the train back. Such a horribly organized trip. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The canyoning trip itself was fun and I give that company 5+ stars! Just book directly with them and stay away from best of Switzerland tours!
Response from the operator: Dear Brikita Thank you for your review, even if its not a favourable one for us. I do understand your concerns. We operate this tour together with our partner, the canyoning operator since last year. We both found it a good idea to offer the convenient “transfer service” by our coach heading from Zürich to Jungfraujoch for guest who like to go canyoning or rafting in Interlaken by two main reasons: 1st It’s substantially cheaper as the train ticket would cost you CHF 140.- instead of our coach ride CHF 80.- and 2nd it is easier and faster taking our direct scenic bus ride instead of taking the trains running quite a bit through tunnels and having to change trains in Berne. I agree with you on the schedule and we can see if this is something we could optimize together with our partner. Unfortunately, we are not able to get there prior 10am. Registering and getting changed and ready for the adventure also takes a bit of time. So, you have 1 to 1.5 hours spear time to stretch your feet’s after the coach ride and visiting the town of Interlaken. After the adventure, there are quite a few further options which you can book directly with the Rafting company such as the mentioned Paragliding or the Rope Park. You also can take the funicular and head up Interlaken’s house mountain Harder Kulm for stunning views or take a walk along the beautiful Aare River. We do not include further activities in our program as we believe it’s better that everyone can choose on their own how to spend the rest of the day. So maybe it is good for you to know you saved CHF 60.- per person by taking our coach and you understand the reasons why we offer this service. For us it is a very valuable feedback to learn about our guests experience and see how this can be improved for future guests. Thank you again for having taken your time to let us know and we hope the great memories on your Canyoning Adventure remain stronger and longer! With best regards

Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich cost?

How long does Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich take?
+

Is Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Canyoning in Interlaken from Zurich start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
