Expect to pay several hundred dollars more per person on arrival and get rushed along during each activity.

On arrival to the facility, there were several more charges and purchases of items we were given the option to add onto our reservation. It was several hundred dollars more than the initial money we paid for this activity. It was very organized, but we were constantly rushed to move along so they could keep their schedule and get us in and out of there as quickly as possible. The lunch was one of the things we added, and it was just chicken in a room temperature tortilla. So if you think this was a great price, you will be very surprised when you arrive and you are encouraged to upgrade to the VIP and also get sold goggles and a cloth to cover your face for the ATV ride. The one thing they did not provide or even try to sell you were gloves for the ATV ride. I was on the back of the ATV and not the driver. I wished I would’ve had gloves as I got several abrasions on my hands and wrists and elbows. It was not dusty. It was just very bumpy and it made it impossible to hold on very well. It was fun, but it was good when that part was over. Apparently we also agreed to sit through a sales pitch for local tequila. We had the opportunity to taste all of them and that was fun. But unfortunately, the tequila was $80 a bottle so we did not purchase any. The staff were very nice but like I said it was very rushed and when I said I needed to use the bathroom they told me I had one minute to do so. Might be a good idea to tell the clients to use the bathroom before getting started on the adventure. The pictures turned out very nice and they were able to load the pictures directly onto my iPhone. Of course that was another $80 though. To be expected and nice to have. They took some good shots. The cenote swim was private with just our group of maybe 15 people. It was refreshing, but a short amount of time was spent in the water.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your experience. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify both what we are doing well and where we need to improve. We’re glad to hear that you found the team friendly, the operation organized, and that you enjoyed certain aspects such as the cenote swim and your photos. Experiences like these—especially in unique natural settings—are meant to be memorable highlights. At the same time, we sincerely regret that several elements of your visit did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it can feel when additional costs are not perceived as clear or when the pace of the experience feels rushed. Your comments regarding upgrades, optional purchases, and time management are extremely important, and we will be reviewing how we communicate inclusions and timing to ensure a more transparent and comfortable experience for our guests. We also take your feedback about safety and comfort seriously, particularly your mention of the ATV ride. This has been shared with our operations team to evaluate how we can better advise guests and improve recommendations for a smoother experience. Regarding the lunch and overall value, we’re sorry it did not meet your expectations. We continuously review our offerings and your input will help us enhance both quality and presentation. Your note about the tequila tasting and timing at each stop is also appreciated—we aim to create a balance between cultural experiences and allowing guests enough time to enjoy each activity without feeling pressured. We’re grateful you highlighted both the positive and the areas for improvement. We would truly value the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide a more relaxed, transparent, and elevated experience that better matches your expectations.

    Decent experience

It’s fun but basic if you’ve ever done any of these things. The best part was the cenote to me, the ATVs were ok and the zip lining is sub par. I’ve done these things in other places so It was just ok to me. If you’re new to these things then yes a great way to introduce yourself.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the cenote experience—these natural wonders are truly one of the highlights of the region and a memorable part of any visit. We also appreciate your perspective regarding the ATV and zipline activities. Our experience is designed to offer a well-rounded introduction to adventure activities in a safe and accessible environment, which is why it can feel more “basic” for guests who have already enjoyed similar experiences in other destinations. Your comments are very valuable to us, as they help us continue improving and exploring ways to enhance the experience for returning and more experienced travelers as well. We’re happy to know you would still recommend it for first-time visitors, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you again in the future—perhaps with one of our more advanced or exclusive experiences tailored to a higher level of adventure.

Very fun. They try to upsell absolutely everything but the adventures themselves were fun

ATV - Zip Line - Cenote …. With Tequila!

Resort pickup was a breeze, followed by a 25 minute drive to the location. ATV was first, and this was fun, although I wouldn’t recommend two adult sized people riding together. Zip line was next and was terrific. The staff at each station made sure the rigging was safe and the rides were thrilling. Last was the Cenote and lunch, which was pretty cool. We really enjoyed the lunch and the added tequila tasting. The Cenote jump and swim were very refreshing. My favorite part of the trip was our group leader, Ernesto. He was there at every step helping us with a smile. I’m so glad we were in his group.

Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 87 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim?

    +

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cancun Combo Tour: ATV and Zip- lines with Cenote Swim start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
