NEVER PROVIDED A REFUND FOR >$8K
My husband and I organized this excursion with for a large group of people for 3/17/26 as we had done a few years back. Unfortunately, the boat trip was cancelled that morning due to inclement weather. We were promised a refund within 30 days after the cancelation notice. However, after 30 days, they extended the refund deadline to another 30 days and provided a formal letter to verify the refund will be received. After weeks of direct communication with the company they became unresponsive. The refund is for over $8,000 dollars and not one dime has been refunded.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, We are sorry to read about your situation and sincerely hope it is resolved with the correct tour provider. However, after carefully reviewing our records, Cancun Vacation Experts has no reservation, payment, cancellation, or refund request related to your group for March 17, 2026, nor any record matching the amount mentioned in your review. We respectfully believe this review may have been posted on our profile by mistake. We kindly ask you to review your booking confirmation, payment records, and communications to verify the company with whom the arrangements were made. Cancun Vacation Experts did not operate, manage, or receive payment for this reservation. For this reason, we respectfully request that this claim be removed from our profile and redirected to the actual company or tour handler involved. We truly hope your case is resolved promptly and fairly. Sincerely, Francisco Villavicencio Cancun Vacation Experts

We had a wonderful...
We had a wonderful experience with the staff on the boat. The only issue was that the dock staff tried to charge us more for our son because they said that “adults” were 9 or older but Viator said 12. Once we were on the boat it was a great trip.
Response from the operator: Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very pleased to hear that you had a wonderful time with our boat crew. We sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the age policy at the dock. Your feedback is very important, and we will review this with our team to ensure clearer and more consistent communication moving forward. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again soon. Kind regards,

When you are asked to dance, you should dance
Was a really fun an upbeat boat trip. The snorkeling is very tough, you’ve got to cover a distance with a decent current and no fins. If I did it again, I’d find a way to bring fins. Food was great. Drinks were great. We got 3 hours on the island. If you’re just shopping, I wouldn’t rent a cart. If you want to see the whole island, it will be around $130 for a golf cart for 3 hours.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the vibe, the food, and the drinks on board. You’re absolutely right about the snorkeling—it can be a real workout when the current picks up! We appreciate the tip about the fins and the golf carts; that kind of insight is invaluable for our future guests. We hope to see you and your husband back on the water with us soon!

Fun experience
It was a very fun experience from the moment you get on the ship till the moment you get off. Every staff member on the ship did an amazing job.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review. We truly appreciate your kind words and are delighted to hear that you had a great time on our tour. Your feedback is invaluable to our team and motivates us to keep improving every day.

Fraudulent company
This s was the worst experience ever! They took my $460, failed to inform me of a cancellation, then failed to reimburse me for the taxi service and inconvenience of my family waiting for over an hour trying to figure out what happened. I’m still waiting for my refund!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feedback. We do apologize for the inconvenience, Please contact me at amin@cancunvacationexperts to provide a solution about the taxi service,

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 356 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch?
+
Around 125 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cancun Dancer Cruise to Isla Mujeres with Snorkeling and Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
