Interesting bus w subpar high tea!
1. Did not have a good seating on the bus.. 2. The tea offerings were subpar. 3. The verbal tour was excellent. 4. There was a young child who was talking over the tour guide most of the ride. We had to intercede and request if the child could be asked to be silent.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the guided commentary and found the verbal tour to be excellent. We're sorry that your seating on the coach and the refreshments did not meet your expectations, and we also regret that the disruption caused by another passenger affected your enjoyment of the journey. We understand how important it is for everyone to be able to hear the guide's commentary comfortably, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continue to review the overall guest experience, and we hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable tour in the future. Kind regards, Evan Evans Team

Poor due to protest and blockade
When we arrived at the Evan’s office. I inquired about the tour due to the protest that they were having today in London I was assured that we would still have a good experience. Unfortunately, that was not true, every route we went down was blocked by police and protesters. We did not get to see any of the landmarks that were on the itinerary. Every route we went down was detoured due to police blockades. We almost did not make it back in time to do the palace tour that we had scheduled at 4:15 PM. We practically had to run to the palace in order to get our timed entry. This was definitely not the experience. I paid a lot of money for and I feel we should be compensated for at least the part of the bus tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Judy P, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with Evan Evans Tours. We’re very sorry to hear that your tour was significantly impacted by the protest activity in London on that day. Please accept our sincere apologies for the disruption you encountered. While we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, there are rare occasions—such as public demonstrations and associated police activity—that are entirely beyond our control. Unfortunately, these events can result in unavoidable diversions and delays, as was the case during your tour. We truly regret that you were unable to see the key landmarks outlined in your itinerary and that you felt rushed for your scheduled Palace visit. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been, especially after planning and investing in what should have been a highlight of your trip. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer compensation for the impacted portion of your experience. Please reach out to our Guest Relations team at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk, quoting your booking reference, so we can arrange this for you. Your feedback is valuable and has been shared with our operations team to help us improve how we communicate and manage expectations during city-wide disruptions. Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future under better circumstances. Kind regards, The Evan Evans Tours Team

Response from the operator: Dear masakon2018, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion you experienced during your visit to the palace. Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips cost?
+
Prices start at $104 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 542 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips?
+
Around 190 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Tour with PG Tips start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
