Amazing day on the Bourbon Trail
We had a fantastic experience with Bluegrass Executive Transportation! Chris helped us plan a perfect day visiting six distilleries in the Frankfort area. Our driver, Casey, was outstanding—professional, prompt, and knowledgeable about bourbon and local history. He made great suggestions throughout the day and kept everything fun and easygoing. We always felt safe, and he was patient and shared plenty of laughs with us as the bourbon kicked in. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!
Response from the operator: Wow! Thanks so much, Michelle! Casey and I really appreciate all the kind words and review very much. We are so glad you all had a great time and look forward to next time. Thank you for your business.

Best Bourbon Tour Guide & Transportation
Sorry for the long review, but it is worth the read! My wife & I just returned from 4 days in Kentucky doing bourbon tours for our anniversary. We called Bluegrass Executive Transportation to enquire about their services during our trip. Working with Chris was hands down the single best decision we made on this trip. He is a great communicator and extremely knowledgeable about all things Kentucky! From the best bourbon tours to dining to hotels, you name it, and this guy has a wealth of knowledge. We spent 4 days with Chris, and he was always professional. His goal was to ensure we had a great experience and got the absolute most out of our trip. He handled everything from our airport transfers to daily pickups and taking us on bourbon tours. He provided us with recommendations for dining between tours and even sent us all of the restaurant menus; I mean, this guy goes above and beyond. We definitely plan to return to Louisville and plan to use his services. We would give Bluegrass Executive Transportation & Bourbon Tours 10 Stars if google would allow it. Thanks for everything Chris!
Response from the operator: Truly at a loss for words. Thank you so much for all of that, Homer. I am so glad you all had a great time and so did I. What a fun several days! I really appreciate your business, this review, and your recommendations. I can’t wait to see you all next time!

Amazing!
We utilized Bluegrass tours for the bourbon trail on a 40th birthday weekend. Absolutely incredible people and service! When we come back to Louisville, we will only book with Bluegrass. We had a blast. Planning was easy from start to finish and everything was on time. Have recommended to others and highly recommend!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Louisville.
How much does Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation cost?
+
Prices start at $1875 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Louisville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Louisville is not rushed.
Is Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Louisville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Louisville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Louisville and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bourbon Distillery Tour Transportation start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Louisville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Louisville?
+
Louisville runs bourbon distillery tours and tastings along the Urban Bourbon Trail, Churchill Downs and Derby Museum visits, Louisville Slugger factory tours and river cruises. On Outty we rank every Louisville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Old Louisville Walking Tour, ORIGINAL Old Louisville Walking Tour seen in The New York Times!, Secrets of Louisville: 3hr NuLu Food & History Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Louisville?
+
April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Louisville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
