Tour the Bourbon Trail in style with Pegasus!
Our driver John Thomas did a great job getting us to our distilleries on time and in style. Our booking agent Julie Mayfield did a great job setting up the distillery tours and making adjustments as our group size changed. The limo was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed for our group. Pegasus was referred to us by a friend who brought a family group several years ago. I heartily recommend Pegasus for your bourbon trail tour!

Best Small Bourbon Tour Ever!
We did the Angels and Outlaws tour on Friday and Keith was our tour guide. Out first stop was the Frazier Museum, which includes a tour and tasting. We then went to the Stitzel-Weller Distillery and did a tour and tasting. Both places were great. Along our ride we were offered snack and water/soda and Keith would give us some more fun facts about Bourbon. Next stop was in Paristown and we ate our pre-ordered meals at The Cafe Restaurant and then walked across the street to Uncle Boojie’s Distillery which is a micro-distillery. They pipet the bourbon right out of the 4 barrels for you to taste, and you can buy a bottle right from the barrel. However, there is no bottles to purchase, aside from what they will take directly from the bottle. We had great cocktails here though, which was not included in the tour price but reasonable priced and great cocktails. Final distillery we visited was Angel’s Envy. Full tour and tasting with a chocolate pairing. Then a final surprise is we ended our day at Eatables, which makes the chocolates for the Angel’s Envy pairing. They have TONS of bourbon infused chocolates AND they have CHEAP tastings and chocolate pairings there as well. They have ALL the bourbons to taste and we tried things we had never had before. We bought lots of things from that shop and then headed back to the Galt Hoise to be dropped off. We LOVED our experience and the white glove service we were offered. Each stop we purchased items and felt safe leaving them on the bus where the driver always remained. Keith joined us for a few of the tours. It was seamless and so much fun. The bonus was the 7 other people we met on our tour and got to spend the day with. We were all one big family by the end and they were all super fun!!!

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Louisville.
How much does Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky cost?
+
Prices start at $295 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Louisville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Louisville is not rushed.
Is Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Louisville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Louisville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Louisville and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bourbon Wine Tour In Kentucky start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Louisville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Louisville?
+
Louisville runs bourbon distillery tours and tastings along the Urban Bourbon Trail, Churchill Downs and Derby Museum visits, Louisville Slugger factory tours and river cruises. On Outty we rank every Louisville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Old Louisville Walking Tour, ORIGINAL Old Louisville Walking Tour seen in The New York Times!, Secrets of Louisville: 3hr NuLu Food & History Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Louisville?
+
April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Louisville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
