Pleasant journey through Nepal

A memorable and enjoyable travel experience in Nepal, especially in Kathmandu and Pokhara, with this travel agency, accompanied by our tour guide, Birodh.

Awesome tour guide and wonderful sites

We were welcomed with such warmth even if the weather was truly cold when we arrived in the evening. Our tour guide Birodh was energetic and full of life as he was taking around our varied tour group. I especially enjoyed walking around Bakhtapur and learning about the culture of Nepal. The food places they recommended was awesome plus all the shopping areas they took us in. We were lucky enough to witness a living goddess and were taken around the backstreets for that extra information about Nepal's way of life. The 4 days we spent going around Kathmandu was short but filled with intention. Looking forward to booking more trips and hopefully trek the Annapurna or stay a few days in Pokhara!

Outfitter Nepal - the best tour operator in Nepal !

I contacted Raj at Outfitter Nepal to organise my trip to Nepal. I found him to be very attentive and responded to my emails very promptly. As a solo traveller, I found Outfitter Nepal to be very flexible. They are ready to cater to anyone's interests, and are very flexible with the way they do business. Whether you're a solo traveller, a couple or a family or a group, they will cater to your needs and organise an itinerary just for you. My guide was Birodh, very attentive and ready to please. It was lovely having my own private guide. I highly recommend this company.

Best of Nepal 9 days

I booked the "Best of Nepal" tour with Namaraj Gauli (NG), the tour operator of Outfitter Nepal Treks. It was including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nagarkot, Sarankot, Chitwan and Lumbimi. Everything was perfect, also the price is very reasonable compared to others.

Best of Nepal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Best of Nepal cost?

+

Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Best of Nepal take?

+

Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Best of Nepal worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Nepal?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Best of Nepal suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 240-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Best of Nepal?

+

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Best of Nepal start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
