Unique travel io Nepal and Bhutan
Every aspect of this holiday was perfect, thanks to a fantastic locally based company Swotah in Kathmandu. Although our original itinerary had to be changed, meaning we missed out on the Tibet region due to the devastating floods, the company responded quickly and professionally, arranging an alternative tour that allowed us to explore even more of Nepal. This included an incredible five-day safari in Bardiya and a peaceful escape to Balthali Valley. We also managed to visit Bhutan, which felt like stepping back in time — wonderfully serene, peaceful and fascinating. The professionalism of this company is truly first-class. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and all of our tour guides were knowledgeable, interesting and great fun to spend time with. Throughout the trip, we enjoyed incredible food, met wonderfully welcoming local people and experienced a culture that is deeply rooted in tradition. We would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone considering a trip to Nepal and Bhutan. Just do it — and book with Swotah. You won’t regret it

Swotah are the best!
We have recently returned after a customised trip to Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet with Swotah Travel and Tours. From start to finish the Swotah team were exceptional. They were flexible, friendly and really helpful in tailoring our trip. We were provided with helpful and accurate information, briefed before our departure, they checks in with us during our travel, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It was like having your family looking after you! We will definitely travel with Swotah again, and recommend them to everyone we know. What a great trip we had, and thanks to Swotah for making it so special.
Response from the operator: Dear Phillipa, Thank you so much for this wonderful review — "like having your family looking after you" might be the nicest thing anyone's said about us, and it's exactly the feeling we hope guests have on a trip as big as a 21-day custom journey across three countries. We're so glad the flexibility and the check-ins along the way made a difference — tailoring a trip is one thing, but staying on top of it once you're actually out there is what we care about most, so it means a lot that it came through. Thank you for recommending us to everyone you know — that's the best compliment we could ask for. We'd love to have you travel with us again soon. Warm regards, Aj

My mountain adventures
I did the Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet tour in April. Loved hiking to Tiger's nest in Bhutan. Lots of rinos and birds in Chitwan. The weather did not cooperate to see mountains in Pokhara but we saw lots of mountains in Tibet and also made it to Everest base camp on the Tibet side. I got altitude sickness and I would recommend starting diamox prior if you are not used to high altitude. If you are "older" would definitely consider some of the upgrades ie flying or private vehicle. Had a great adventure and the staff were very attentive at Swotah as well as my peaceful oasis at Nomads Hotel.
Response from the operator: Namaste Janet, Thank you for sharing the feedback with us. It was a pleasure hosting you here in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. We wanted to help you with an early departure from Tibet because of your health, but because of restrictions there, we had very limited choice. Hope you liked our tour in general. We would be delighted to have you or your friends for yet another adventure. Regards, Aj

Response from the operator: Queridas Luana e Georgette, Muito obrigado pela mensagem tão carinhosa!

Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $5,999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days take?
+
Plan for about 504 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 504-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 504-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet in 21 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
