    Great Night

What a fun night! Walking through the city and stopping to taste the beer was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide Sandra was extremely knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time with her. This is a great way to start off or end a vacation in Zurich.

Good fun with a great guide

This tour was really worth it! Our guide, Corvin, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We got a great historical perspective of beer making with lots of cool technical info on how it's done. He walked us to three completely different pubs, all with a great vibe and tasty samples of a wide variety of beers. He was super personable and fun. If you have a free evening and the weather is good for walking around some, sign up for this!

Take this tour for fun beers and good company!

Great tour if you enjoy beer and learning about it in different countries! We knew nothing about the Swiss beer scene but thought this would be a fun way to start our trip (as we took the tour the afternoon after we arrived on a flight that morning). Simona was our guide and it was just my husband and I on the tour. We went to three great places and tried really interesting beers, and we had an excellent time chatting with Simona about breweries in Switzerland and the differences and similarities in beer/drinking culture compared to the US. By the end of the tour it felt like we were just out drinking beers with a friend. We highly recommend this tour and would do it again next time we are in country!

    Great time!

Sandra was great! Very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable! Definitely learned so much on the tour while enjoying tasty beers! It ended up just being two of us on the tour so she was able to curate the tour towards our preferences while also giving up new things to taste!

    Average tour experience

The tour wasn’t all that well planned and the guide although knowledgeable about beer excessively talked and didn’t listen well

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. Our tours are designed as guided tasting experiences where we share in-depth knowledge about beer styles, brewing, and the Swiss craft beer scene. Many of our guests specifically book the tour because they’re looking for exactly that kind of insight. That said, the balance between explaining and interacting is very important to us, and we’re always working to adapt to each group’s dynamic. Regarding the planning: the route and reservations are normally carefully coordinated with our partner bars. On this particular afternoon there was a timing mix-up, which we addressed on the spot and resolved with the venues. We apologize again if this affected your experience. We take feedback seriously and will use it to continue improving. Our goal is always to create a relaxed, engaging, and well-organised experience for every guest. If you’d like to share more details directly with us, feel free to reach out anytime.

Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.

How much does Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich cost?

    +

Prices start at $158 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.

Is Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Beer Tasting Tour in Zurich start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zurich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zurich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
