    The directions to the...

The directions to the ferry were a little sketchy. The lady at the port gate seemed to have better directions than what were given from viator. We were informed that we were supposed to get an additional email with our tickets besides what we received. Luckily the people at the ticket counter were able to look up our tickets. After that everything was great. The ferry was awesome and the trip in general was pretty awesome. Next time we’re doing a multiple day stay.

Response from the operator: Hi there: Thanks so much for your awesome review and your feedback. All of our guests receive detailed meeting point confirmations 24 hours prior to the tour. Best regards, Vincent

    Perfection

It was awesome, the water was so Cristall clear and white sand beach, and amenities were great. The overall trip was relaxing and perfect.

Response from the operator: Wow, thank you for the glowing review! Hearing that your experience was awesome makes our whole team's day. There really is nothing quite like that warm, turquoise Bahamas water. Until next time, we'll keep the sunshine and pristine beaches waiting for you!

    A fine day

Viator and Balearia may need to communicate a little bit because something was missing for the nice lady who checked me in. I’m not sure. I understand what the issue was, but she said there was something I was supposed to be sent, but wasn’t.However, whatever it was, she figured it out and printed a ticket for me. The crossing was smooth both ways and I had a lovely time on radio Beach.

Response from the operator: hank you so much for the 5-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the ferry ride and that our white sand beaches and warm, turquoise waters lived up to the dream. It was a pleasure hosting you for your Bahamas day trip, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to paradise soon!

    Day tripTo Bahamas

They said be there at 6 which was crazy since we didn’t even leave until 9AM. Time should be adjusted

Response from the operator: Hi Susie, thanks for the feedback. Because of security and border control, all guests must check in at least 90 minutes before departure, as stated on your ticket. Best regards, Vincent

    Bimini/Florida Ferry experience

Ferry To Bimini was good, I would recommend bringing a sweat shirt or blanket, they keep the boat chilly and looking up the directions before your visit- would have helped if the instructions were more clear on how to get to the ports!

Response from the operator: Hi there, Thanks for your awesome 5star review and valuable feedback which we have already escalated tour our team. Best regards, Vincent

Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.

How much does Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area cost?

    +

Prices start at $284 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.

Is Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bahamas Day Cruise from Miami area start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?

    +

Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour, Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?

    +

November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
