What you get

    About this experience

Your culinary journey begins with an antipasto of three types of bruschetta: - Fettunta, the purest form of bruschetta with garlic and extra virgin olive oil. - Bruschetta with seasonal vegetables, highlighting the fresh produce of Tuscany. - Classic tomato bruschetta, a staple of Italian cuisine. Next, you’ll craft handmade tagliolini pasta, pairing it with two delicious homemade sauces: - Pomarola sauce, a rich and flavorful Tuscan tomato sauce. - Seasonal vegetable sauce, featuring farm-fresh ingredients. To end on a sweet note, enjoy a traditional Tuscan dessert with two options: - Ricotta cream with Vinsanto wine (or a kid-friendly version with strawberry jam). - Pane, vino e zucchero, a modern twist on a rustic Tuscan treat. After the class, embark on a winery tour, where you’ll explore the vineyards and cellars, learning about Chianti and Tuscan winemaking traditions. Conclude the experience with a guided tasting of three fine Tuscan wines, perfectly paired with your meal.

    Had an amazing time...

Had an amazing time learning to make pasta with my 2 teenage boys. On the drive up, my 17 year old was complaining (where do you even find this stuff, mom?), but within 30 mins had a huge smile, got a “this is really fun” and “ this makes me want to cook”. I call that a huge win. Highly recommend.

    Totally Worth It

This was AMAZING! I am not a cook at all and our instructor, Lavina (not sure if spelled right) was very patient, showed us how to do each step more than once if needed, and explained things in a very simple way! We made an appetizer, pasta from scratch, and a dessert AND did some wine tasting. This was the best part of our trip to San Gimignano!

    The experience was...

The experience was fantastic!! So much fun and great teachers. Very hands on for everyone followed by a lovely meal together. Perfect amount of time and space to cook. I learned new things even though I cook a lot. The location, though a little remote, was super beautiful and the wine was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

    Fabulous!

We had an outstanding time! However, it was a difficult place to find when you don't know the area or exactly what you are looking for. But once we arrived, it could not have been a better experience! We started off with a tour of the winery, farm, and property. Then went into the kitchen...We made a ricotta dessert, tagliatelle pasta with pumpkin sauce and 3 kinds of bruscetta. In between we tasted their excellent wines - 2 whites and 2 reds. We then had lunch - with everything we made. What a great time! We'd highly recommend this experience!

    Home style Tuscan Cooking

Lara made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped out of the car. We become part of her family as we learned some delicious recipes and simple tips for making the meal at home. It was a fun and relaxing atmosphere with great recommendations for the rest of our stay and recipes to make at home. I highly recommend this experience.

Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Gimignano.

How much does Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano cost?

    +

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Gimignano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Gimignano is not rushed.

Is Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Gimignano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Gimignano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Gimignano and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Authentic Tuscan Cooking Class & Winery Tour in San Gimignano start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Gimignano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Gimignano?

    +

On Outty we rank every San Gimignano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wine and food tasting in an organic family winery, Tuscan Cooking Class, Tuscany Wine Tour: 2 Wineries & Chianti from San Gimignano. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Gimignano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Gimignano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
