    ATV TRILL FUN

Noel, our guide was excellent. He made sure safety was understood before ATV take-off. He was friendly and the ride was fun. The complimentary fresh tortillas at the end was amazing and tasty. Fun experience.

    Extremely Misleading

The tour guide is exceptional however, this particular tour is not fun at all. It’s too much stopping. You can’t ride the ATVs long enough because you have to stop for pictures and you have to pay for everything no phones, if you don’t buy a photo package.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the tour guide exceptional. Regarding the photography policy, we would like to clarify that the restriction on personal phones and cameras is disclosed on the booking platform, included in the ticket information, and explained again before the activity begins. The stops throughout the tour and the photography procedures are part of the operator’s established experience and are communicated in advance so guests know what to expect. We also regret that some of the interactions during the tour became unpleasant, as our team always strives to provide respectful and professional service and did everything within our reach to make your experience enjoyable. We appreciate your preference and your comments, as they help us continue improving our service. Kind regards, Baja Access

The camel treatment should break your heart. Good for ATV only.

I visited Rancho Attractions for a camel ride and ATV andventure and was really uncomfortable with what I saw. One camel (Hummer) had a halter that appeared embedded into the skin of its face, and a rope running across its lower jaw that looked like it was cutting into the gums. Several of the camels had rough, worn patches, and they were all kept in a very small enclosure — over 15 animals crowded into a space that didn’t seem adequate. I’m not a vet, but I know what discomfort and poor conditions look like, and this didn’t sit right. Tourism should not come at the expense of animal welfare. If you’re considering doing a camel ride in Cabo, I’d really encourage you to look into how the animals are treated first. Our guide for the ATVs was amazing and everyone was kind (minus the camel handler he wasn’t very personable either which makes me sad for the animals too) also minus the “vet” who came to argue with me about the camels welfare when you can clearly see he is distressed and in halters way too tight which look like they are never removed. The pictures were definitely not worth the $95usd, and the $33 pp price then the $110pp “fees” made for quite the shock. Sneaky ways of listing the price and it was quite a far drive with a lot of stops. Eats up your whole day easily.

Response from the operator: Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate your honesty and are very sorry to hear that parts of your visit made you feel uncomfortable. We want to assure you that the camels are cared for and treated under the highest standards. They are under constant supervision, receive proper veterinary care, and are kept in conditions designed to ensure their well-being. That said, we take your observations very seriously, and we will reinforce this matter with the entire team to ensure these standards are consistently upheld and clearly reflected at all times. We also regret that the interaction with the camel handler and part of the staff did not meet your expectations. This is not the level of experience we aim to provide, and we will be addressing this internally to improve both service and communication. On the other hand, we’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your ATV guide and that part of the adventure. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you’re open to it, we would love the opportunity to assist you with a future experience that better reflects the quality and standards we strive to deliver. Kind regards

    Pay attention

I booked the camel and atv ride tequila tasting. The price I booked for was not the price once the driver contacted me. And it was not the price when arriving at the site. It went for $16 to $200. The atv that is offered is not a drive able bc it’s a stick shift one so you kinda force to upgrade. It’s ran like a rental car place vs your normal tour site. Phones can’t really be out so many ppl sneak and take pictures bc the site wants to sell you pics. The guide who was super nice told us he wasn’t allowed! Overall the atvs were fantastic I enjoyed the experience. The time spent on the atvs exceeded my expectations. The site is beautiful.

Response from the operator: We also truly appreciate your feedback, it helps us continue improving our service. We hope to welcome you back soon for another amazing adventure in Los Cabos!

    Assursteel had a great time

Just have a great time. Guides are awesome. Really treated the Assursteel Family well. Go for the 4pm one as it is cool and sunset with Atvs is bad ass! You can Uber or do a package deal where they come pick you up and drop you off

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your great review! We’re happy to hear that you had an amazing time and that our guides took great care of the Assursteel Family — that truly means a lot to us. We love your tip about the 4:00 p.m. tour; sunset ATV rides are definitely a guest favorite! Thank you for sharing your experience and recommendations. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Los Cabos!

ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Jose del Cabo.

How much does ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos cost?

    +

Prices start at $17 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Jose del Cabo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Jose del Cabo is not rushed.

Is ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Jose del Cabo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Jose del Cabo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Jose del Cabo and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does ATV and Camel Experience Los Cabos start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Jose del Cabo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Jose del Cabo?

    +

On Outty we rank every San Jose del Cabo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Los Cabos 6-Hour Guided City Tour and Cruise with Lunch, La Paz Whale Shark Snorkeling Tour and Lunch From Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Jose del Cabo?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Jose del Cabo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
