    Shuttle, Shuttle Where Are You?

Getting out of the cruise terminal in Southampton England was a gong show. Shuttles all over & most not clearly marked. We eventually did find our shuttle after phoning & texting the service provider. He had one of his colleagues pick us up & take us to his shuttle. He was at a different location. We are seasoned travellers so we took it in stride but I could see inexperienced travellers having an anxiety attack. My advice, better signage and communication by the shuttle providers.

    Take an uber instead

DONT BOOK THIS TRANSPORT! This is extremely misleading in the description. (And I have already put in a complaint with both the company and Viator). There are different times you can select for pick up. What they DONT tell you, is it doesn’t matter what time you choose, they are all picking up at the same time. AND is is grouped with other ships coming in, not just yours. I chose the 7:30 pick up time. Morning of, I get a text (as we are getting off the ship), that our driver will be there for pick up between 9-9:30. I immediately call them because if something was delayed I rather wait on the ship than in the parking lot. The tell me that the will be there between 8-8:30. We were already by this point in the luggage area, so I figured 30 min late isn’t a huge deal. I text the number they gave for the driver, and was able to locate him between 8-830. But then we were all just standing around. In speaking with the others in the group, they all had selected different pick up times. So that’s what we were waiting so long. The latest in our group had a 11 pick up time. Why would you offer different pick up times if you were only having one shuttle? After waiting 2 hours past our confirmed pick up time, I called to cancel and get a refund. Checked uber prices and guess what? It was about the same price as what we paid! Save yourself the heads and just take an uber. It will be less hassle and much quicker. While on the phone with Viator to cancel ( because the company directly said the couldn’t cancel it had to come from Viator). They started loading us onto the coach (not a shuttle bus). So I thought we were finally on our way so I said it was fine we’d just continue. We were not going. We were then going to the next cruise terminal! Another hour of waiting. All in all, it took over 6 hours to get from the port to the city. Will never use this company again. I do not hold the driver responsible for any of this mess. He appeared to be as upset about the chias and lies we were told, as we were.

Transport from Southampton to Heathrow Airport

This trip had to be delayed by a year due to illness I provided ship info and a year later our driver was at the cruise terminal within ten minutes of our arrival outside. We walked -off ship for early departure to Heathrow. Excrement service, safe driver and very comfortable ride in a Mercedes van. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hard to work with. Not flexible on earlier pick up time

Tried to change pick up time - Impossible. Booking company hard to deal with and it took many calls and text messages to get a NO. Great driver. Lots of room. Not his fault.

Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 41 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 144 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports?

    +

Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Arrival Transfer from Cruise Ports to London Hotel or London Airports start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
