Amazing trekking with By Himalayan Holyland Treks and Expedition
I had an unforgettable trekking experience in Nepal, thanks to a truly exceptional team of guides. They were incredibly professional, attentive to my pace and comfort, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Beyond the trekking itself—which was beautifully organized and perfectly paced—they also offered wonderful cultural insights. Whether it was explaining local traditions, sharing stories about the villages we passed, or guiding me through historical sites, they made every moment richer and more meaningful. I felt safe, well taken care of, and genuinely welcomed throughout the entire trip. I can’t recommend this team enough for anyone looking for not only a great trek, but also an authentic cultural experience in Nepal. Highly recommended! Best trip ever
I just did a two-day mountain guide trip in Nepal, and it was amazing! The trek through forests to stunning Himalayan views was incredible. Our guide was awesome, super knowledgeable and friendly. The mountain lodge stay was cozy with epic sunrise views. It was challenging but totally worth it. Highly recommend for a real Himalayan adventure!

A flexible and a wel put together trip
Through a recommendation we got to know our guide Bijay. During the preparations for our trip, he assisted us in an excellent manner. We were able to perfectly communicate what we wanted to do and see, and how we wanted to divide our month in Nepal. Bijay was able to create a beautiful and feasible plan from this, making additional suggestions if needed, and with some back-and-forth communication, we assembled the perfect month in Nepal with a lot of variety. Everything was arranged by Bijay, which ensured that we had minimal worries during our trip, as certain things are more difficult to organize in Nepal without a guide or someone who knows the country. For example, I still wouldn’t be able to navigate public transportation without the help of other Nepalese or a guide. Throughout the journey, we were able to make adjustments without any issues if we felt like changing things up a bit. Last-minute changes were no problem for Bijay and were arranged on the same day. He ensured that we could fully enjoy our month in Nepal and see as many things as possible. Having a guide in the cities is also definitely an added value, as it allows you to learn about the many stories and myths of the faith and recognize these stories in the images and paintings at the temples. If I ever come to Nepal again, I would undoubtedly arrange my trip with Bijay once more.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Sunrise Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Sunrise Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $769 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Sunrise Trek take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Sunrise Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Sunrise Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Sunrise Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Sunrise Trek?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Sunrise Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
