Thorongla Pass - Annapurna Circuit
Having Shiva as a guide made the experience second to none. For the first time while traveling I didn’t have to worry about logistics or navigating any of the circumstances that inevitably come up during challenging travel. There was a peace of mind that came with having a guide who’s knowledgeable about Annapurna Circuit and Thorongla Pass. Also, his safety considerations for acclimatization in high altitude and other overlooked bits of insider knowledge made the journey that much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a guide service to take you over some of the world’s tallest passes and mountains in Nepal, you’ve found them. 5 out of 5 stars.

Accessible Adventure with Shiva
We completed an amazing 16-day journey in Nepal with Shiva as our guide, from trekking in the Annapurna region all the way through the jungle safari in Chitwan. He arranged our cultural sightseeing in Kathmandu, including Swayambhu, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath, and also handled all logistics such as buses, transport, and good hotels throughout the trip. From Manang, Thorong Phedi, and Muktinath through to Pokhara and Chitwan, he stayed with us from the trekking to the jungle, making everything smooth and well organized. Along the way, he shared history and stories that added depth to every place we visited. Highly recommended for a well-planned and stress-free experience in Nepal.

Great experience
Great hike with a Great tour operator in Nepal! What a great trip! From the very beginning, the staff in Nepal was supportive and informative. Himal did a great job keeping the itinerary organized and when we experienced a weather delay she was quick to make alternative arrangements for us. Our guides Bishnu Prassad Bhatta and pamesh were friendly and knowledgeable. They kept the trip fun while keeping our group safe and on track. I felt completely at ease the whole time knowing our guides were taking good care of us. Our porters were reliable and did a great job! Always adding rain-cover to make sure everything stays dry inside. Highly recommend Accessible adventure for your next Nepal trip.

My first trek ever
My first ever trek in Nepal was the best trek that I have ever completed and it would simply not be possible without the help of accessible adventure. I am a nepalese citizen but have been living in australia for years already. I knew little to nothing about Nepal. Without the help and guidance from the guide, I couldn't have dared to come to Nepal and go on a trek. In a single trek, I came to realization of how vast the world really is. I saw hills, valleys, mountains, alpine forests, floras, faunas and so much more. Everything was going great until we started gaining altitude. At one point of trek, I was simply ready to give up due to altitude sickness. But the guide helped me understand more about it and gave me suggestions to cope up with sickness. Just for my sake, guide took a day off from the walking. This was to make me more acclimated with the altitude. During the trek, I don't even remember how many times we put our life on risk. I came back from brink of death few times. But even during scary moments, guide made sure everyone did everything perfectly. I went there with my cousins and few people that the guide knew. Accessible adventure made a promise to deliver us the best time of our life and no doubt they did what they promised. Those were the moments I will cherish forever.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for managing time to write a review for accessible Adventure as soon as you completed your Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek trip. It was not easy for you but we admire your physical effort and mental determination. Yes, we love what we are doing and we do it professionally as far as possible. Thank you for recommending us to your circles! We look forward to seeing you soon with more of your friends!! With thanks from With a lot of thanks, Accessible Adventure Team

Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $1395 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek take?
+
Plan for about 480 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 9. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 480-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 480-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
