    Annapurna Base Camp

My journey to Annapurna Base Camp became one of the highlights of my time in Nepal. The mountains, nature, and atmosphere along the trail were absolutely unforgettable. I was lucky to meet Krishna through this amazing center, and having him as a guide made the experience even more special. He is friendly, supportive, knowledgeable, and always creates a positive mood during the trek. Spending time in the Himalayas with someone like him was truly a pleasure. I would love to return one day and discover more trekking routes together.

Amazing Nepal Adventure with a Wonderful Guide

My Nepal trip was truly an unforgettable experience, all thanks to the excellent planning and support of Mr Janak . Everything was managed smoothly — from transportation and hotels to sightseeing and adventure activities. The entire journey was comfortable, well-organized, and stress-free. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Annapurna Base Camp experience. The breathtaking mountain views, peaceful atmosphere, and guidance provided throughout the trek made it absolutely memorable. The team ensured our safety and comfort at every step, which made the adventure even more enjoyable. Another exciting part of the trip was the bungee jumping experience. It was thrilling, safe, and very professionally managed. The staff motivated and supported us throughout, making it a once-in-a-lifetime memory. The team was polite, cooperative, and always available whenever needed. Nepal itself is beautiful, but this company made the experience even more special. Highly recommended to anyone planning a Nepal trip filled with adventure, comfort, and unforgettable memories!

Incredible experience made possible by an amazing team. 10/10

Had an incredible 8 days trekking to Annapurna base camp. The journey offers the best of Nepal from people, wildlife and scenery. ABC Trekking was fantastic. They organised my airport pick up, sorted all my permits and arranged a fwd to drop off to starting location. My guide Cuzzie dai and porter Tara bai went above and beyond. From organising accomodation, finding hot showers and room upgrades they always checked in along the trek factoring in altitude sickness etc Not only were they knowledgeable and happy to share the best of Nepal, they were both great company and we shared lots of laughs. Highlights recommend this company. 10/10

Incredible experience with an amazing guide and porter. 10/10

Had an incredible time across 8 days trekking to ABC My guide Cuzzie dai and porter Tara bai were really knowledgeable about the routes, the towns and gave great advice along the way. Both had great English and a joy to be around whilst trekking to the peak. Many laughs along the way. They organised airport pick up, jeep drive from Pokhara to starting point, had my permits sorted, and were always looking after me for meals, hot showers or room upgrades. Highly recommend ABC treks, and ask for Cuzzie and Tara if you can.

ABC Trek - Experience of a Lifetime

I did a 5-day trek with ABC Trekking Company and it was truly an experience of a lifetime. This trek is tough and physically demanding, but ABC was excellent with preparation and safety throughout. Janak, the owner, is very hands-on and a great communicator, which made everything smooth and reassuring. I trekked in the off-season and was the only client, yet safety was always the top priority. My guide, Shantos, was outstanding — professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him. The team welcomed me with warm Nepali hospitality, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend ABC Trekking Company, especially Shantos.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

How much does Annapurna Base Camp Trek cost?

    +

Prices start at $450 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Annapurna Base Camp Trek take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Annapurna Base Camp Trek start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
