Incredible!!!!!
We met Roman, our tour guide for the half day Pokhara trip. We booked the Dhampus /Australian camp trip with him straightaway. He is absolutely fantastic. Very hard working, very knowledgeable, down to earth & humble. He lives & breathes Nepal. He is very passionate about sustaining this beautiful environment. The Dhampus/Australian trek was absolutely incredible. We had the most amazing views of the Himalayas. Kabi our guide was very knowledgeable & kind. We trekked to 2000m & he kept us hydrated & motivated. Our driver Ganes was extremely kind & accomodating. All in all - an incredible experience with Roman & his team in Pokhara. I will strongly recommend him /his company . Thanks Roman 🙏
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words - it really means a lot to me and the whole team at Breathe Nepal Trekking. I’m glad you decided to join the Australian Camp - Dhampus trek and enjoyed the experience. It’s a beautiful route with amazing views. I’ll pass your thanks on to Kabi and Ganesh as well - they’ll be very happy to hear it. It was a pleasure meeting you, and thank you again for your recommendation!

Kumar, my guide, was...
Kumar, my guide, was excellent, made sure I paced myself, helped me navigate through treacherous sections, especially on descent , where wet mossy rocks could be very slippery. He also chose a nice restaurant for lunch.

I had a nice day
Roman, my Tourguide was very helpful and kind person. I couldn't believe that he immediately jumped in to help me plan my schedule which was different that the program we had. He picked me up at 5 o clock in the morning with is motorbike from the bus station, because I came by the overnight bus and I went one our to his family until we receive the car and start the tour earlier at 6. Many thanks for that Roman, one more time and also to the company. Even thought I couldn't see the mountains because of the weather conditions, the hike there was very nice, very beautiful nature. Roman took beautiful pictures of me and was very patient. The only thing negative was that tour was a bit too expensive, we drive only a little, but walked the most time. Lunch was included, but still expensive. Otherwise I was happy with the tour and especially with my Tourguide Roman. Thanks to the company also which immediately replied to my email.

Very good
I had a really good experience during the 1-day Damphus trekking. The guide, Yan, was very kind and explained me many things about the environment. The day was a bit cloudy so we couldn't see the mountains well, but still was a very good experience and would recommend it 😊. We also had lunch in a place with nice views and the food was delicious.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for joining the one-day Dhampus trek with us! I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed the day, even with the clouds playing a bit shy with the mountain views. Yan is indeed a wonderful guide. Hopefully next time the weather will be clearer and the mountains will show off a bit more for you. Thanks again for choosing Breathe Nepal Trekking!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 1-Day Private Dhampus Trekking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
