Great trip through during monsoon
We went on Annapurna base camp trek at the end of June & early July. Usually, it's a monsoon raining season but we didn't have holiday in other seasons. Dil the owner of adventure glacier treks told us that this year rains less than usual and heavy rain starts only on 2nd half of July. We thought it's a business words but it was really true Dil's predictions of rainfalls. We had an amazing trip with only little rain showers during the trek. When we return back to pokhara from the trek on 11th of July then real monsoon rain started. We are so very happy with our guide and porter Dil's other services with honest advices. Can't recommend enough.

100% recommend!
I had a wonderful time doing the ABC trek with Adventure Glaciers. It was my first multi day trek so I was a little apprehensive but Dil and the team made it seamless and personalised, ensuring I felt truly looked after. My guide, Sudip, was outstanding: he paced the trek perfectly to match my speed, with plenty of water and photo breaks. Along the way, he shared insights into Annapurna's culture and biodiversity that I never would have noticed alone. I can't recommend Adventure Glaciers and Sudip highly enough, and I'll definitely trek with them again.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the 100% recommendation! It was a privilege to host you on the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek. Helping first-time trekkers transition into confident mountain explorers is a core part of the Adventure Glacier mission. We are delighted that Sudip’s expertise in pacing and local culture made your journey so memorable. At Adventure Glacier, we prioritize a clinical approach to safety and personalized care, ensuring every guest feels "looked after" from start to finish. By trekking with Dil and our team, you’ve also supported our Regenerative Tourism efforts. Your journey directly contributes to our 3% CSR pledge, which funds local mountain schools and community animal welfare. We look forward to seeing you again in the Himalayas for another sustainable trekking adventure!

Amazing experience with Adventure Glacier!!
We recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Adventure glacier treks and had an amazing time! Dil helped us a lot in the months and weeks leading up to it, on hand to give advice and information, which was especially helpful as it was our first trek in Nepal. His communication was fantastic. Our guide Dipak was brilliant from the very start, helping us to rent gear in Pokhara before the trek started. He was very experienced, and knowledgeable about the mountains. When one of us was slightly unwell at base camp, he was very caring and knew exactly what to do. Our porter Binod was also great. Both before and during, everything was handled which meant we could focus on enjoying the trekking. Thank you to Dil, Dipak and Binod - would highly recommend Adventure Glacier Treks!

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $799 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 288-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
