A Temple Tour We’ll Never Forget

Such a fantastic experience from beginning to end! Exploring Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm was already something I was really looking forward to, but having Mr Long and Mr Rockstar looking after us made the day even better. Mr Long was an excellent guide. He has an incredible amount of knowledge and explained the history and stories behind each temple in a way that was interesting and easy to follow. He was also so friendly and easygoing, which made the whole day feel relaxed rather than rushed. Mr Rockstar took such great care of us between stops. Coming back from exploring a temple to cold water and an icy cooling towel was honestly the best feeling in the Cambodian heat! 😂 Travelling between the temples in a vintage military jeep was also such a cool experience and definitely not your average temple tour! Everything about the day felt really well organised and personal, and we came away having learnt so much while also having a lot of fun. A huge thank you to Mr Long and Mr Rockstar for looking after us and giving us such a memorable day in Siem Reap. I couldn’t recommend them enough! 🇰🇭❤️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm with Long and Ray. We’re especially happy that you enjoyed Long’s stories and knowledge, and that Ray kept you comfortable with cold water and refreshing icy towels! We’ll be sure to share your kind words with them. Thank you again for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back to Cambodia for another memorable adventure! Warm regards,

An Unforgettable Angkor Adventure with Mr Long & Mr Rockstar! 🇰🇭⭐️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most incredible experience exploring Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm temples with our wonderful tour guide, Mr Long, and our driver, Mr Rockstar! From the very beginning, they were both incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely delightful to spend the day with. Mr Long’s knowledge of the temples and Cambodian history was amazing. He shared so many fascinating stories and details along the way, bringing the history of each temple to life and making the whole experience so much more meaningful. The little touches throughout the day were also hugely appreciated, especially the ice-cold water and refreshing cooling towels waiting for us after exploring each temple in the Cambodian heat! And then there was our transport… a vintage military jeep! Such a fun and unexpected bonus that made an already memorable day feel even more special. Riding between the temples in the jeep was an experience in itself! Mr Long and Mr Rockstar provided the perfect combination of knowledge, friendliness, humour and genuine Cambodian hospitality. We felt so well looked after from start to finish and couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience these incredible temples. Thank you, Mr Long and Mr Rockstar, for such a delightful and unforgettable day. We would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Siem Reap! 🇰🇭❤️

So good we booked our guide again!

My husband and I went on this tour with three friends. Our guide, Long, was phenomenal - so much so that we booked him again for the next day. We would not have booked again if it wasn’t for Long. He took the best pictures, shared great information, and had the best guidance for our experiences at the temples. We were greeted back at the jeeps with cold towels and waters. Long made sure our every need was met. If I could give six stars to Long, I would!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. We are truly delighted to hear that you, your husband, and your friends had such a memorable experience with Long. His dedication, knowledge, and attention to detail are qualities we are very proud of, and he will be especially happy to know that you chose to book again because of him. We’re glad you enjoyed the thoughtful touches, from guidance at the temples to cold towels and water, and that Long helped capture great moments along the way. Your kind words and “six-star” compliment mean a great deal to our entire team. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back again for another unforgettable experience.

Great Tour with Vitou

We did a half day tour privately with Vitou. He was a great guide with fantastic deep knowledge of the temples around Siem Reap and the history of the area. He speaks excellent English and has a fascinating personal history to share as well. We’d recommend him for anyone looking for a guide here!

Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise cost?

+

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Angkor Jeep Tour with Sunset & Sunrise start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
