Jerash Ruins
After breakfast transfer to Jerash , enjoy a tour of the Roman City of Jerash, Jerash is one of the most favorite tourist destinations in Jordan. The ancient city of Jerash has been inhabited for more than 6,500 years, coming under Roman rule in 63BC. It is known to be one of the best-preserved Roman town's in the world, and was hidden for hundreds of years before being recently re-discovered. It features a beautiful blend of Roman and Middle Eastern architectures. The ancient and modern cities are located directly beside each other, separated only by a wall. Jerash is located about 30 miles north of the capital Amman, and the ruins of the old city have been very carefully preserved to avoid damage and show authenticity. Some interesting sights to see include the hippodrome, a partially restored Roman-era stadium, the Temple of Artemis, which was dedicated to the patron goddess of the city, and the Jerash Archeological Museum.

Excellent service
In addition to the places listed above we went to Wadi Rum. It was a 3 day trip. Excellent service - Yakob is the best driver assisting us all the time. Always on time and very courteous (even after our flight to Amman was 3 hours late).

An excellent guide/drive in Jordan
During our 7 days trip to Jordan/Israel, Kamal our guide/driver meet us always on time, making sure that the local tours were running smoothly, on a schedule and properly taken care of us, my wife and I. When crossing to Israel and coming back , Kamal was present at all times and he processed all paper work professionally. Furthermore when visiting artcraft and lunch locations, we were a priority for him. Thank you Kamal to making our Jordanian experience a trip to remember.

The beauties of Jordan
We actually started with Jacob picking us up at the border. He has helped us with all of our activities. If you need a great driver with lots of information and help get Jacob! We have had such a good time in Jordan. We have seen so many things! My favorite was the Ajloun Castle! Jacob has also helped us with finding the best food! My husband loves seeing Jarash. It was so amazing! This is a great trip!

Roman city of Jerash-excellent
Our driver/guide tour was "Zizo". He did a great job getting us to each location. He provided us with water and a delightful personal touch from a local cookies box. Jerash city was really great, we didn't know too much about this roman-greek city in such a remote area and within a modern city. We experienced the acoustic sound in one of the amphitheaters, the engineering of the construction and drainage and water system was very interesting and well-executed for being constructed in ancient times. Zizo did the extra mile in everything we asked for, from the airport, hotels, shopping, COVID test, etc. We highly recommend Zizo and this tour.

Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.
How much does Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman cost?
+
Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.
Is Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amman?
+
On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, Discover Trax Jo Playground and Traffic Park Fun, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amman?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amman?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
