King Abdullah Mosque
The blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque, built in the 1980s by the late King Hussein as a memorial to his grandfather, is open to Non-Muslim visitors. The nave with an area of 1,615 m2 has the capacity to house 3,000 worshippers. It is octogonal and distiguished for not having pillars inside. Its dome of 35 m in diameter has a height of 31 meters. A source of radiation was placed in the middle taking the form of a golden star culminating in the Ninety Nine Most Beautiful Names of Allah surrounding the dome's neck. The suspended chandelier of 168 lanterns consists of three circles with the Holy Quranic Verse with the word Allah recurring on every lantern. The fertile land is expressed in the form of a red carpet made of an ornamental textile of recurring patterns meant to direct worshippers toward the Kiblah. All the walls, including the Kiblah, the pulpit, and the Mihrab are panelled with wooden and marble oriels.

It had a population of 313 Muslim households, and 20 Muslim bachelors, in addition to 20 Christian households.

Wonderful Day Exploring Jordan – Amman, Jerash & Ajloun
We had an amazing one-day trip exploring Amman, Jerash, and Ajloun, and it was an unforgettable experience! From discovering the vibrant charm and rich history of Amman to exploring the magnificent Roman ruins of Jerash and enjoying the beautiful scenery and historic castle of Ajloun, every stop was truly worth it. A special thank you to Karam, our wonderful driver, who made the entire day smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. He was professional, friendly, punctual, and very helpful throughout the trip. Amman was a fantastic starting point, offering a fascinating blend of ancient heritage and modern life. Exploring the city gave us a wonderful glimpse into Jordanian culture and its rich past. There is something truly special about a city where history and everyday life come together so naturally. Jerash was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our journey! Walking through its magnificent Roman ruins felt like stepping back in time. Some days on a trip are simply better than others — and our day with Fadi was definitely one of them
We were a group of friends looking to make the most of our time in Jordan, so we decided to spend one full day exploring Amman, Jerash, and Ajloun. From the first pickup until the end of the day, everything felt easy, relaxed, and well organized. Fadi was a big part of what made the day so enjoyable. He wasn't just our driver; he was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time. He knew when to give us space to enjoy ourselves and when to offer helpful advice or suggestions. Amman gave us a great introduction to the city, and then Jerash completely impressed us. Walking through the ancient ruins and seeing the enormous columns and historic streets in person was incredible. We spent plenty of time exploring, taking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere. From there, we headed toward Ajloun. The drive itself was beautiful, with the changing scenery and countryside giving us a completely different view of Jordan. Ajloun Castle was another highlight, and the views from the area were fantastic. Since we were traveling with friends, we wanted the day to be fun rather than feel like a strict sightseeing schedule. Fadi understood that perfectly. He was flexible, patient, and never made us feel rushed. The car was comfortable, the driving was safe, and we could just sit back, enjoy the views, talk, laugh, and take everything in. By the end of the day, we had seen so much, taken countless photos, and made some great memories together. It was the kind of day where everyone in the group was happy — and that's not always easy to achieve! A special thank you to Fadi for being such a great driver and companion for the day. His professionalism, good attitude, and local knowledge made everything much easier. One day, three incredible places, and a lot of laughs along the way
We booked a one-day trip to Amman, Jerash, and Ajloun as a group of friends, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Jordan. We managed to see so much in one day without feeling like we were constantly rushing from one place to another. A big part of what made the day so enjoyable was our driver, Jamal. From the first moment, he was friendly, welcoming, and easy to be around. He made the journey comfortable, helped us with everything we needed, and gave us the freedom to enjoy the day at our own pace. Having someone so helpful and relaxed with us made a huge difference, especially when traveling with friends. Jerash was absolutely amazing, Ajloun gave us a completely different atmosphere, and exploring Amman with our group made the whole day even more memorable. There were plenty of photos, plenty of laughs, and definitely a few moments we’ll be talking about for a long time. They're the ones where someone who knows the country says, “Trust me, you'll love this.” That was our experience on our one-day trip to Amman, Jerash, and Ajloun with Tour Experts — and a huge part of the reason was our driver, Anas. From the moment we met Anas, the day felt easy. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and incredibly welcoming. But what really stood out was how much he cared about making sure we experienced Jordan rather than simply completing an itinerary. We explored Amman, enjoying the contrast between the modern city and its incredible layers of history. Then we headed toward Jerash, and seeing the ancient Roman city in person was absolutely impressive. Walking among the enormous columns, streets, arches, and ruins gives you a completely different appreciation for how much history is here. After Jerash, we continued to Ajloun, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a completely different atmosphere from the capital. But one of the biggest surprises of the day happened when Anas took us to a local restaurant he recommended. We trusted him. And we're extremely glad we did. The food was honestly some of the best we tried during our entire time in Jordan. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. It was exactly the kind of meal you hope to discover while traveling — not just somewhere to eat, but somewhere that feels connected to the place you're visiting. We probably would never have found it on our own. That is what made Anas such a great part of the experience. He didn't just drive us between the famous places. He helped us discover the Jordan that isn't always written in the guidebooks. The little recommendations, the conversations, the local insight, and the willingness to make the day feel personal made a huge difference. We never felt rushed or treated like we were simply following a schedule. Anas was patient, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable. By the end of the day, we had seen incredible history, beautiful landscapes, enjoyed a fantastic meal, and learned things about Jordan that we wouldn't have discovered by ourselves. And honestly, that restaurant alone deserves a special mention! We came for the sightseeing and ended up talking about the food all the way back. That's how you know it was good.
