Lots of great food to...

Lots of great food to try, even as a picky eater didn’t have any issues. Also had a great guide, would do again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining our tour in Amman! We love hearing that even a picky eater found plenty of Jordanian food to enjoy. Our goal is to make our day tour one of the most memorable things to do in Amman with great local food, a knowledgeable local guide, and a chance to experience downtown Amman beyond the usual sightseeing. We’d love to welcome you back on your next trip to Jordan!

Delicious and Fun Tour!

This was an excellent tour! We booked a bit last minute and they were very accommodating, even when we were a few minutes late. The food was all delicious, but a special shout out to the Zaatar Manaqish, the Kofta, and the Arayes. The trip through the market was fantastic, we wouldn't have found that on our own and it was a hopping fun place! Tour guide was terrific and took great of us, even the baby! Well worth the price, and it's a good thing to do at the beginning of a trip - the guide had good advice on places to go and things to see. Loved it, all the stars!

Response from the operator: Thank you for such a wonderful review! We love that you enjoyed your tour in Amman with us! . Exploring Amman through its food, markets and local culture is exactly the experience we want our guests to have. We’re also so happy to hear that our Amman food tour was a great experience with a baby. Starting your Jordan trip with a local guide is such a great way to get to know the city, discover what to eat and get recommendations for the rest of your time in Jordan. Thank you for joining us!

Do yourself a favour and book this awesome food tour !! It’s so much more than food.

Fabulous experience - all of the food tasted was wonderful, the atmosphere around the streets was awesome, and Jumana our guide was brilliant. We learnt so much - interesting facts and lots about cultural ways, tolerance and warmth of the Jordanian people but most of all the food. Delicious food at every stop.

Amazing start to our trip

We booked the food tour for our first night in Amman and it was really the best thing we could do! We got to try amazing food- we left the tour beyond full- and we got to see the city. With all the talk of “tensions” in the Middle East it was a lovely and quick way to put us at ease in this beautiful city. After the tour we felt empowered to go back and explore and set the tone so nicely for our time in Jordan. Would highly recommend booking this tour! Jumana was a lovely guide.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining us on your first night in Amman and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. This is exactly why we encourage visitors to take the tour at the start of their trip. While the food is certainly a highlight, our goal has always been to help guests feel comfortable, confident, and excited about exploring Jordan. We love hearing that an evening spent sharing local dishes, stories, and neighborhoods helped put you at ease and set the tone for the rest of your journey. Jordan has so much to offer, and if our tour helped you see beyond the headlines and experience the warmth and hospitality of the people here, then we've done our job. We'll be sure to pass your kind words along to Jumana. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope Jordan has left you with wonderful memories long after the last bite of falafel!

Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.

How much does Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman cost?

+

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.

Is Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 105 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman?

+

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amman Food Tours: 3-Hours Guided Walking Food Tour in Amman start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amman?

+

On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra, Amman Petra Full-Day Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amman?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amman?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
