Great tour and wonderful guide

I booked this trip again with Jordan Landmark tour because of the great trip I had with Anees to Petra and Wadi Rum. The trip went as planned and in timely manner and it was very easy to go around. Anees is an excellent tour person to be with and is very supportive and always on time. Visiting places where Jesus and Moses went was a blessing

Amazing experience

The tour was very well organized and informative, with stops at multiple locations and even getting to spend some time on the beach. Berry grateful to the driver Mr. Hassan, who picked me up on time and from my address and who made sure everything was good during the trip.

Unforgettable Day Trip in Amman, Jorden

I had an absolutely incredible day exploring Mount Nebo, the Baptism Site, and Madaba. Each location was rich in history and deeply moving, making it a must-do itinerary when visiting Jordan. What truly made my trip exceptional, however, was my driver, Hassan Al-Khatib. From the moment he picked me up, Hassan was professional, incredibly polite, and exhibited wonderful behavior throughout the entire day. He speaks excellent English, which made communication completely effortless. He was also highly punctual and went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable and never felt rushed at any of the sites. I appreciate to the Danish Office including my tour guider Mr. Hassan Al-Khatib.

Amazing History

I had an excellent experience with Hassan Al-Khatib. I originally booked a group tour, but since it was the low season, I was kindly accommodated with a private tour instead. Despite making my booking at the last minute, everything was arranged smoothly. Hassan was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area, making the trip both enjoyable and informative. A special thank you to the Danish office for their excellent support and coordination. For future travelers, note that some entrance fees are optional and paid on-site: St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church costs 3 JOD, Mt. Nebo costs 3 JOD, and the Baptism Site is included with the Jordan Pass (otherwise 12 JOD), which includes the site's shuttle service and an on-site guide. I also opted for the lunch package at the Dead Sea but skipped the swim as it was extremely hot that day. Although I booked my hotel separately, the tour arrangements were seamless and well organized. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

How long does Amman: Full day Dead Sea, baptism site, Madaba and Mount Nebo take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.

Is Amman: Full day Dead Sea, baptism site, Madaba and Mount Nebo worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amman: Full day Dead Sea, baptism site, Madaba and Mount Nebo?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amman: Full day Dead Sea, baptism site, Madaba and Mount Nebo suitable for kids and families?

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Amman: Full day Dead Sea, baptism site, Madaba and Mount Nebo?

+

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Amman?

+

On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra, Amman Petra Full-Day Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amman?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amman?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
