A must for Jack the Ripper fans!

Our driver, Danny, did a wonderful job taking us through White Chapel and explaining details about the area, the investigation and the victims. My husband has been intrigued by Jack the Ripper his entire life and really enjoyed this tour.

Definitely recommend Danny!

This was an amazing tour. Not only was our guide, Danny, incredibly knowledgeable about Jack the Ripper but London in general and gave insight throughout the trip and answered all our off the wall questions. Danny was great with adapting and rolling with the flow, we had one person in a wheelchair and 2 kids with us. He definitely wanted us to feel comfortable with how much or little he shared but also made changes on the fly to meet the needs of a sleeping child and someone who couldn’t walk well. But we didn’t feel like we missed a single thing! He made the tour informative but entertaining and real at the same time. Would definitely do other tours with Danny and would recommend him to anyone!

Quick, easy, and affordable and everything you need

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic Jack the Ripper tour with Danny in London, and it’s hands-down one of the best tours we’ve ever experienced! Danny’s passion for the history of the five canonical murders shone through from start to finish, making the evening both gripping and informative. His unique approach, guiding us in a traditional London taxi, added such a cool, authentic vibe to the experience. Danny expertly navigated us through the eerie streets of East London, stopping at key locations tied to the infamous murders. At each stop, he brought the stories to life with vivid details, historical context, and chilling insights that kept us all captivated. He even had photos and visuals to enhance the storytelling, which made the history feel so real and immersive. What stood out most was how Danny handled our group of five with such care and enthusiasm. He answered our questions, and tailored the tour to keep the energy high. His knowledge, wit, and knack for storytelling made the dark history of Jack the Ripper come alive in a way we’ll never forget. He’s an exceptional guide, and we can’t recommend his Jack the Ripper taxi tour highly enough. Thanks, Danny, for an unforgettable night!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your such kind words, it was great having you on board and telling you about the facinating times during the victorian period. Stay in touch Many thanks Danny

A great London off-the-beaten-track tour with Danny

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Danny! Danny was super friendly and extremely thorough in going through the details of the gruesome murders in Whitechapel . He had pictures of several locations dating back to the days of Jack the Ripper to compare with those same locations he took us to today that made it really surreal as some surrounding buildings appeared frozen in time. Danny also took us around the surrounding area and showcased several places that were not directly relevant to Jack the Ripper which was a pleasant and lovely surprise. Plus, Danny takes really great photos which he kindly shared with us after our tour. All in all, I would strongly recommend Danny for this tour for anyone visiting London for something that is off the beaten track.

Response from the operator: Thank you Serena for taking our most popular tour the jack the ripper by black cab tour, we hope you come back and join another tour of our again soon Many thanks

Highly recommended tour

Well deserved 5 stars. Danny knows his stuff, very informative, lots of fun, great time had by all. Would highly recommend to all, what impressed me the most was Danny's interaction with my autistic son.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining me on my Jack the Ripper tour and for your kind words

A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $295 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does A Private VIP Jack the Ripper Black Cab Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
