We gonna book again for another destination!

My family and i were enjoying this tour so much! Everything started & ended on time. Our Tour guide was Andy, he was very nice & funny. He took care of everyone of us even before the trip started. We appreciated that so much.

Great Way to See Much of UK, Quickly, & On a Budget

Very good for its value. GoEUGo is a Hong Kong-based company and it seemed that a majority of its clients were from the East. The tour guide (Andy/Andi) was very good about accommodating to the diverse international audience aboard the tour. We thought his English was pretty good and he was very available for any questions and advice during the tour. He wasn't necessarily a history professor but was very kind, available for questions about the areas (bathrooms, restaurants, shops, etc.), and did a solid job trying to herd all of the families on the tour. You're on a bus with other families. Assigned seats because some families only join for certain parts of the tour. So the tour group expands and contracts as you move along. Be aware that if you travel during Christmas and the New Year many places may be closed. Also, you're basically trying to see all of the UK in seven days . . . it's going to be fast. If you only have a certain time-frame in which to visit, and you don't want to 'break the bank' to do it, it's a great option. We were really quite pleased. We never could have seen as much as we did in the time that we did by trying to coordinate the trip on our own. We acknowledge some of the concerns mentioned in other reviews but we really had a good time and I could present reasonable counter-arguments/explainations for all of the complaints I've seen listed by others (but it would take too long to do so here). We understood some stuff would be closed for the Holidays and knew we would be moving fast (which is what we wanted because we didn't have a long time for our vacation in the UK anyways). Maybe some of the negative reviews had different tour guides than we had (Andy/Andi)? Our tour guide was great! We felt the value for your money was very good.

Absolutely Worst Tour Guide Ever

We've just completed a 4-Day England and Scotland Tour with goEUgo over Christmas. As the tour was from December 23 to 26, pretty much all attractions are closed on December 25 and 26. Even though the attractions were closed, we did visit some "free" areas. However, we were very confused why the tour guide (Miriam Meszaros) felt the need to always rush us from one place to another. On December 25, we arrived at our airport hotel in Manchester at 4PM (prior to the actual tour date, we confirmed with goEUgo that the arrival time at the hotel would be around 6:30PM). We arrived at the hotel 2.5 hours earlier than scheduled, so you can imagine how the tour guide "rushed" us so that we can spend more time doing nothing in the airport hotel which is very far from any attraction. On December 26, the same thing happened again, we were rushed to leave Bicester Village. The normal drop-off time at St. Pancras Railway Station was at 7:30PM, but we were once again rushed to complete the tour and we arrived back in London around 5:30PM, 2 hours earlier than scheduled. Thankfully, we were able to contact the driver of the coach company we've arranged to pick us up at the station. If you're thinking of taking the goEUgo Purple Line, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Seriously.

Response from the operator: Hi there, Many thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it very much. Our sincere apologies that you had a rushed feeling during the tour. We know our tours aims to see a lot in a short time, however arriving two hours earlier than planned is not what we wanted. Please accept our sincere apologies for this matter. We will take your feedback further to improve our service and product. Once again thank you for feedback and again our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly: maggie@goeugo.eu We still hope to welcome you again on our other lines in the future. Best regards, Maggie

7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London cost?

+

Prices start at $693 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 Day Winter Tour of England and Scotland starting from London start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
