Kindest people and amazing leadership

I cannot say enough about how amazing Frazier and his team were in guiding us to the top of Kilimanjaro. By the end of the journey we felt bonded to everyone. The team did everything to make sure we were safe, comfortable and well fed! Most of all they embodied Hakuna Matata, a positive attitude!

Response from the operator: Dear Jonathan, Thank you for your thoughtful and generous review. Your feedback truly made our day, and we greatly appreciate your kind words. We are delighted to hear that your experience with Pinnacle was positive. Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction is our utmost priority, and it is incredibly gratifying to know we have met your expectations.

I will forever remember this team!!

"What can I say. This was the most amazing trip of my lifetime. Everything about it was truly exceptional. From the pre-trip organisation and advice, to the safety and care from the whole team in Moshi. The team of guides led admirably by Justin, Innocent, Kabu were amazing. Safety always came first but their support and determination to get everyone to the top and back again was astounding. The quality of the food from Kareem the chef was excellent and ensured we all had the right diet to provide the energy needed. Particular mention should also made of the large support team of porters, cooks, tent erectors, and even the toilet attendant. Without all of this, ascending Kilimanjaro would not have been possible. Thank you so much. You were all amazing!

Response from the operator: Dear Jeff, Thank you so much for such an incredible recommendation, we really enjoyed your presence and activities here, I hope Tanzania and Pinnacle Team made you feel welcomed back! Take care and we hope to see you again.

I've Just got back from doing Kilimanjaro

I’ve just got back from doing Kilimanjaro, the 7 day Machame Route. I’ve had an amazing, unforgettable time, thanks to the wonderful Pinnacle Team. The team from Pinnacle which included the guides and the porters were absolutely fantastic. The expertise of Robert, our lead guide made us feel very safe and secure as we put our lives into his hands. Robert’s commitment to his enormous responsibility throughout the week was very evident as he looked after us and his team. I was massively impressed how well organised the whole trek was making sure all our needs were met where possible. Throughout the week it felt like nothing was too much trouble. The guides were fun, patient, caring and generous with their time. The porters worked so hard and were so conscientiousness in the roles that they were doing to make sure everything was right for us. In my opinion the guides and porters went above and beyond what I would have expected from them and the whole experience with them was very humbling. 🙏 I would wholeheartedly recommend to do this trip with pinnacle. I should also add that when booking the trip the customer service that I received from Sammy and other members of staff was excellent. Again, nothing seemed like too much trouble. After booking the trip I phoned on several occasions to ask questions and talk a few things through and the staff were always happy to spend time on the phone. When planning my next adventure I’ll definitely be coming to pinnacle.

Response from the operator: Dear Sammy, it was an absolute pleasure to have you here. Thank you so much for trusting us, and please welcome back and bring more friends, family, and colleagues next time Cheers

Such an Amazing Team

My two cousins and I did Kilimanjaro with Pinnacle Adventures and Safaris, our team was simply the best. We had beyond what we expected. From meals on the mountain, the care our guides showed us, they frequently checked on us to see if the oxygen level was perfect especially before the summit. Words won't be enough to express our gratitude to the porters who worked really hard to make sure our triple was memorable. I highly recommend Pinnacle Adventures for Mount Kilimanjaro and Safaris. We also had a chance to a day trip in Tarangire, perfectly organized by Pinnacle. We shall definitely come back for more.

Response from the operator: Dear Jonathan, we are so happy that you had the most of your trip to Tanzania. Your presence here was such a joy and a blessing to all of us, please welcome back and bring more friends, family and colleagues with you cheers

Choose Pinnacle team for Kili

This was my second time climbing Kibo Peak, and I feel blessed that I chose Pinnacle for this experience. We chose a seven-day trek and went via Machame up to the summit and down via Marangu, which I have since found out is not an easy thing to arrange with the park authorities. The leaders of our climb (Jonas, Manase, and Seif) paid attention to every detail - lodging, tents, food, etc. - so we could focus on our adventure and develop memories that will last a lifetime. You could really sense our guides' joy in being a part of these expeditions, and I must say their enthusiasm was infectious. I felt like we mattered to them and were more than clients, but were friends as well. This is not just a job for the Pinnacle staff. This is their passion. These guys rock!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Regan; We can give a billion words just to express how grateful we are, first and foremost for believing in us and pick us among many other companies. We are glad to have had you and happy for your success. Please keep recommending us and welcome back.

7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.

How much does 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak cost?

+

Prices start at $2069 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route–The Best Path to Uhuru Peak start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

+

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kilimanjaro climb, Lemosho Route (8-day), Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Kilimanjaro climb by Lemosho Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
