Very Experienced and caring Team getting three rookies to the top!

We are three outdoor rookies all manage to climb Kilimanjaro with Spirit of Kilimanjaro team. The communication with William before we arrive is very smooth, with almost no climbing experience, we have asked a lot questions and made various requests. William is very responsive and patient, accommodating to our request very well. With no experience of high attitude climb, we had a rough start and almost all want to quit before day 3. Our team leader Mfaume is very experienced, he gives us a lot of encouragement, and evaluates our situation and adjust the rhythm, daily task accordingly. Under him and the team’s help, we all adapt the situation better and all successfully climb to top. We had a great experience and appreciate Spirit of Kilimanjaro team’s expertise in guiding us though physical challenges, caring us with great support and warm heart. We highly recommend the team to everyone!

Best team for the best place!

Going to Kilimanjaro had been my dream for many years, thus having a great amount of expectation. The spirit of kilimanjaro team and guide Rama together met my expectation fully, and made the trip memorable and successfull at the same time. From the beginning, they answered my inquries with such details, got me ready for the adventure. It would have not been possible for me to reach the top without their support and help. Food was enough and good, my tent was always ready in advance, equipments were adequate. Rama was such an experienced guide who knew know to deal the difficult situation, and tried to communicated with me as often as possible to ensure I was doing alright. We had good conversations along the way! I am so thankful for their making my trip worthwhile, and definately recommand them.

7 days Kilimandjaro climbing with Spirit

An unforgettable experience with Spirit of Kilimanjaro, organized by Williame, during our 6-person ascent via the Lemosho route. Our guide Emanuel and the entire team were amazing—professional, caring, and incredibly kind. The meals were excellent, the tents very comfortable, and the overall support truly exceptional. Memories for a lifetime — we highly recommend them!

7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.

How much does 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route cost?

    +

Prices start at $2566 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route take?

    +

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho Route start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kilimanjaro climb, Lemosho Route (8-day), Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Kilimanjaro climb by Lemosho Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
