    Amazing

We had a private tour for 6 people with Bogdan, where we were picked up in Cluj Napoca and he drove us to different towns and cities in Romania over the course of 4 days. From the out of this world Turda salt mine, and the beautiful and magical Sighisoara, Bogdan gave us an amazing tour of the best parts of Romania, telling us some interesting and funny stories along the way. We also had an authentic Romanian meal which was delicious. I felt at ease with Bogdan straight away, he was very down to earth and happy to give us advice and recommendations along the way. He also knew a lot of people along the way which made things a lot easier. Glad we decided to have a tour with Bogdan, it took a lot of the worry out of the trip as he knew where he was going and we may have struggled to navigate on our own. Thank you so much for a brilliant tour, would highly recommend Bogdan to anyone wanting to travel and see Romania. So many beautiful and interesting places to see!

    Seeing Romania

So glad we found Bogdan for our tour! 6 friends in our group to see parts of Romania that would be so hard to get to without the car and made so interesting with Bogdan's input and knowledge. We had such a wonderful time and once we got to Bucharest, other local tour guides were impressed we'd managed to see as much. Fantastic meal in the accommodation one evening and great advice on where to go on the other evenings for meals etc. It really does make seeing the real country very easy and comfortable! I would recommend Bogdan to anyone visiting this area. Thank you for a brilliant trip!!

Prices start at $2236 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bucharest usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 6-Days Transfagarasan, Transylvania & Maramures Wooden Churches from Bucharest take?

    +

Is 6-Days Transfagarasan, Transylvania & Maramures Wooden Churches from Bucharest worth it?

    +

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Bucharest?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bucharest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Real tour of Communism, Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour, Top Gear Road, Small-group max 7 pax with Pick-up, Transfăgărăşan. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bucharest?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bucharest?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
