    Amazing experience!!

We just completed a 6-day All Ireland tour with Gordon as our guide, and he truly made the entire experience unforgettable. Gordon was fun, informative, organized, and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule while still making the trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond throughout the tour. Because we had extra time on certain days, he even included additional stops and sites that weren’t on the original itinerary, which made the experience even more special. The most impressive moment came when I accidentally left my passport behind at one of our stops. Gordon immediately stayed calm, reassured me, and coordinated with other tour guides from the company to get my passport returned to me the very same day. His professionalism, quick thinking, and kindness turned what could have been a very stressful situation into something completely manageable. From start to finish, Gordon made our trip to Ireland amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ireland!

    Not the itinerary we expected

We took the 6 day South of Ireland tour. It was ok. I will start with the positive. The accommodations each night were fine. The towns we visited were lovely with lots of things to do and see. Now for the negative. Our tour guide didn’t have much to say at all. The itinerary was not the one posted on the Paddywagon website. Our third and fourth days were a mixture of both days itinerary. This was the intinerary that was supposed to happen on the Sixth day , From 1st April - October 31st we'll visit Glengowla mine, a historic silver mine which has excellent underground show mines and displays of traditional farming above ground including sheepdogs and turf cutting, but none of that happened. We drove back to Dublin through the Connemara National park. Not much getting out of the bus.

    Over Promised-Under Delivered

I was highly disappointed with my recent experience with Paddywagon. Despite promising 4- and 5-star accommodations, the service was poorly managed, with slow communication, incomplete responses, and frequent changes to agreed plans. I ended up paying a lot out of pocket for accommodations as some of the hotels booked by them were Hostels at best and not even in the Towns we had requested. The main issue was the lack of professionalism and operational competence. The only bright spot was our driver, Paidi, who was excellent. I wouldn’t recommend or use this company again based on this experience- definitely not to book accommodation. Judging by this company-taking advantage of tourists is alive and well in Ireland.

    Family tour of Ireland

Dan B. Was our tour leader and driver and we couldn't have asked for a better "tour chieftain "! He was pleasant, easy going, very accommodating, and a joy to have as our ambassador for Ireland. It was a trip that our whole family will look back on with fond memories. Thanks for making our tour of Ireland so great, Dan!

    Fantastic Family Trip!

Dan B. was an outstanding guide! 9 of us were here to celebrate my mom‘s 80th birthday. It would have been impossible for all of us to make every decision by committee so it was great to have Paddy Wagon plan a wonderful itinerary for us. Since we were all together Dan B. could also be really accommodating when we wanted to make some adjustments and stay longer in certain places. He was fascinating, informative and a lot of fun! We highly recommend this tour especially for groups of families or friends.

6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.

How much does 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin cost?

    +

Prices start at $1041 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin take?

    +

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.

Is 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 6-Day South of Ireland Tour from Dublin start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dublin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dublin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dublin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
