Ireland to Isle with Pat Omara!
Our group of 6 , took the 7 day Ireland to Island Tour, with Pat Omara! Pat was a superb tour guide !! I like to call him Paddy Pat! He is an excellent driver , knowledgeable Irish man and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met ! His banter kept me awake and laughing non stop! Pat was very accommodating and sent us to the best restaurants in Ireland !! My personal favorite activities were the walk around The Blarney Castle, The Cliffs of Moher and the West Kerry Sheepdog demonstration! The Kenmare Stone Circle and Fairy Tree was also a favorite of mine ; including our hilarious chat with Martin! Every accommodation was unique and amazing and the traditional Irish music in the pubs was a highlight ! We couldn’t have asked for a better quality first time visit to the beautiful land of Ireland! Our doors are always open for you Paddy Pat!

Fabulous Driver, group and tour agenda
What a way to see Ireland but through the eyes of someone who lives there. So many wonderful experiences, memories and surprises. Our driver, Cathal Mc Elearney, went far and above to make the trip special. Suggested a dance show not on the itinerary and then drove us to and from after his day should have been done. Cobh, Doolin and Waterville are the cutest little towns. Watching the sheepdog demo and the smile on my wife's face as she bottle fed a lamb was a high point. The walking tour of Galway ended us on a high note. We've travelled a bit and this is one of our best trips ever.

Fantastic Tour
Our trip was fantastic, start to finish. Everything was so well organized, we had such a great time. Our guide Conor was the BEST! He was super inclusive and made sure everyone had a good time. The places we saw were amazing, I highly recommend traveling with Overland.

Hiking, kayaking & biking, oh my!
From the time we met our driver/guide, Cathal McElearney, early in the am on the first day until we got off the bus for the last time, it was a wonderful and smooth trip, all thanks to his efforts. Our group of twelve was pretty diverse in age, as well in home locations worldwide, but Cathal's leadership and people skills had us all quickly becoming friends. The trip itself, being an active trip, had us at times hiking, kayaking and biking (only four of us in that case), and all were great adventures to say the least. Especially the hike along the Cliffs of Moher!! The domiciles for the evening were all first rate. The wife and I especially enjoyed our evening at the Smuggler's Inn near Waterford. Often following Cathal's suggestions for food and pub recommendations turned out to be spot on as well. Besides the published activities, Cathal managed to add in a few others not on the official schedule like... The Titanic Experience in Cobh, The Celtic Steps show in Killarney, The Torc Waterfall also in the Killarney area, and the Poulnabrone Dolmen located in the Burren. We can certainly recommend Overland Ireland for service, experience and cost. And if you're lucky, Cathal as your driver/guide !!

What a way to see Ireland!
What a way to see Ireland — the 7 day Ireland to Island Overland Tour Tour was truly unforgettable! This was, without question, the best tour I have ever taken. Our guide, Pat O’Mara, made the experience exceptional. He knows every area inside and out, from history to local folklore, and he has a remarkable ability to read people and get everyone engaged. By the end of the week, he had built a friendly, connected group that genuinely enjoyed traveling together. Pat’s adaptability was impressive. A master of coordination. He could adjust the itinerary at a moment’s notice (as necessary), always sharing the perfect restaurant, pubs, best places to explore, in every city. His sense of humor kept the group laughing, and his easygoing nature made the entire journey feel effortless and fun. He continually offered assistance, if needed and followed up. He appeared genuinely interested in what we were gaining from the experience. This tour delivered everything you would hope for when seeing Ireland, beauty, culture, stories, and camaraderie. All guided by someone who clearly loves what he does. The accommodations and itinerary in each city were also perfect. A phenomenal experience from start to finish. Pat truly showed off his love of land and the people. Made me even more proud to be of Irish descent.
Response from the operator: Thanks a million for such a glowing review! Hearing that our 7-Day Ireland to Island Tour was the best trip you have ever taken and that it deepened your connection to your Irish roots is the absolute highest praise we could ask for. Pat is going to be delighted to read your generous words! His talent for bringing a group together and seamless coordination on the road are what make him a absolute legend. Knowing his passion for the land and culture made your week so special means everything to him and the team. We would love to welcome you back for another seamless getaway down the road. Perhaps to swap the Irish trails for the sunny coastlines and vibrant culture of Portugal on your next escape with us! Warmest regards, Marta & the entire Overland Tours team

+
Around 40 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
