Great Owners and Fabulous Guide
Emily was great to work with during the planning process. She was responsive to inquiries and provided guidance with obtaining park passes. We did the Yellowstone Private tour one day and the Teton Private tour on another. Our guide; Gogi, was extremely knowledgeable of both parks and gave us an insider's type experience. We had a large group, but he was always gracious and excited to answer our questions. Lunches were fantastic and snacks, water, and sodas were provided throughout the tours. If you only have a couple of days to see the parks, I definitely recommend Teton Excursions to help ensure you see amazing sites the parks have to offer in a relaxed and comfortable manner.

Book with Teton Excursions- you'll be glad you did!
Our A+ experience with Teton Excursions started the moment I picked up the phone and called their number a few months before our vacation—Emily answered right away. I knew instantly I was dealing with a company that truly values customer service. Who answers the phone anymore?! Emily and I planned two outings: a full day in Grand Teton National Park and another in Yellowstone. Over the next few weeks, we spoke several times to fine-tune the details. She also gave me great recommendations for restaurants and other activities around Jackson—super helpful. Thanks, Emily! A few days before our first tour, our guide Aaron gave us a call to confirm pickup time. For both outings, he showed up right on time—with delicious breakfast sandwiches, no less! Aaron was a wealth of fascinating information that even kept my teens totally engaged. He knew all the best places to stop and somehow managed to avoid the crowds. He even knew where to find bathrooms with running water—a big win! Having a guide who knows all the secret spots is priceless! While we were driving, Aaron filled us in on the area's wildlife, history, geology, and more. We saw bears, moose, elk, bison, a fox, eagles, and jaw-dropping landscapes. We hiked, took amazing photos, shared plenty of laughs, and enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch that Aaron had prepared. He customized every part of the day to fit what we wanted to do. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this experience. It was unforgettable from start to finish. Book with Teton Excursions- you will be glad you did!

Teton Excursions nailed it
Okay, from start to finish, this company was ON point. Aaron and Emily are pro's at knowledge and corrspomnence. I never had a question "sit' for more than an hour. Chris, our guide was amazing. He was fun, interesitng and full of stories and facts. He made our first time in Yellowstone special. If you only have a day or even a few in this past of the US, go with Teton Excursions. Oh and the lunch? YUMMO!!! Nailed it, folks.

Aaron’s magnificent tour!
Aaron was a wonderful guide! We were traveling with a nine-year-old and an 11-year-old. He came prepared to keep them engaged! I was thoroughly impressed with how he handled our group. He took us to every feature we wanted to see, and we saw wildlife that thrilled us! I highly recommend taking Aaron’s tour!

Epic day at Yellowstone. 5/5 would recommend.
We had an amazing day with Aaron as our guide! It was the perfect way to see Yellowstone for the first time. The experience was thoughtfully put together and expertly executed. We got to see all of the essential sights, do a small hike, a picnic lunch, we saw tons of wildlife, and all while hearing relevant and interesting history about the park. He had answers to all of our questions and made the whole day so much fun. It was our favorite day of our trip to the Jackson Hole area.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.
How much does 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van cost?
+
Prices start at $2095 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.
Is 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5 Person Full Day PRIVATE Yellowstone Tour- Picnic, Binoculars, Scope, Huge Van start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson?
+
On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
