    Great tour & guide

We had an amazing full day wildlife tour in Grand Teton NP. Our guide Ashley was extraordinary with her knowledge, communication & interpersonal skills. We saw pronghorn, grizzly bear and moose all with their babies. Also, close up spots of bison & elk. Yes we were fortunate, but Ashley knew best locations to spot mammals including when to double back. Scenic stops were excellent. Picnic lunch provided by tour company was healthy & delicious. Eco Adventures is highly recomended especially Awesome Ashley.

Response from the operator: We're so glad you enjoyed your tour with Ashley! She is phenomenal; we're lucky to have her on our team. What a great list of wildlife sightings, too! Thank you so much for choosing us, we hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Jackson Hole! Cheers, Kelsey

    What a memorable time!

We had such an incredible experience with Jackson Hole Eco Tour Adventures. Our guide Rob was amazing. My fiancée and I actually got very lucky and ended up being the only two on the tour, which made the whole day feel even more special. Rob made it an unforgettable experience from the start. He picked us up early with delicious sandwiches from a local deli, and we were off. We started spotting wildlife almost immediately. Rob was great about finding calm, respectful vantage points where we could safely observe everything through the viewfinder. Over the course of the day we saw a wolf, moose, elk, bald eagles, and more. The wolf sighting was especially memorable. Another guide from the company, who was actually off that day, spotted it and radioed it in so we could come take a look. It felt like such a rare and lucky moment. Later, we headed into Grand Teton National Park for the snowshoeing portion, which was just as incredible. Rob guided us through beautiful trails to a stunning viewpoint of the mountains where we stopped for a picnic lunch. It was one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in. After lunch, we kept exploring through some really peaceful, scenic terrain. It was fun, a little adventurous, and just an all-around great way to experience the park. If you’re considering this tour, I can’t recommend it enough.

Response from the operator: Thank you for such a detailed review! We are thrilled that you had such a memorable and fun tour with Rob. He is a phenomenal guide and we are lucky to have him on our team. Seeing a wolf is truly a special experience – spotting them is quite uncommon! Thank you so much for touring with us, we hope to see you again down the road. Cheers, Kelsey

    Highly Recommend!

What a great day first viewing wildlife in the morning, coming back to town for lunch at a lovely Jackson cafe, and then snowshoeing. Karl was our guide, he was knowledgeable, professional and fun. We were able to see elk, big horn sheep, many moose, and best of all a wolf. The tour provided high quality binoculars for all of us, we could pop the roof of the van to better view wildlife when we were parked, and Karl was able to take some great pictures and share them with the group. Ample snacks and beverages too. Snow shoeing was an enjoyable pace and we had the trail pretty much to ourselves. All in all a great day and highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Wolf sitings are quite special! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the snowshoe adventure. Karl is a great guide and we are fortunate to have him on the team. Thank you for making memories with us and we hope to see you again. Warm Regards, Amelia

    Great value, perfect day!

Ryan was our guide, and we couldn’t have been happier. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. The snowshoe portion was perfect- it was nice to get out of the van and hit the trails. We saw all kinds of animals- moose, elk, deer, swans, fox, and even an otter. We would most definitely use this company and even ask for Ryan again.

Response from the operator: Sounds like you had an amazing day! Otters in the winter are such a special site. Ryan is a terrific guide and we are fortunate to have him on the team. Thank you for touring with us and we hope to see you again. Warm regards, Amelia

8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.

How much does 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park cost?

    +

Prices start at $349 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.

Is 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jackson?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jackson?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jackson?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
