Altezza's Guides and Tours are well done!
Our guide with Altezza was excellent. Our guide (Rassuel?) had three great characteristics. 1st) As a wildlife guide he was excellent, he knew the parks well, was excellent at tracking the animals, and the was well versed on their habits, characteristics, environments and habits. He made sure we saw every animal that existed within the specific parks. 2nd) Our guide was an excellent driver. This is not something to be taken lightly in Tanzania. Driving is a challenge! The terrain in the parks is complex, balancing rough roads with even rougher roads. He would get us to great viewing locations with out every compromising our safety. 3rd) He kept us on schedule. We stayed in some excellent resorts, that often were beyond description. He made sure we where we needed to be when and where, keep us feed, and provided plenty of washroom breaks. If I had one negative, it was the vehicle windows. They did not easily open for quick photo shots. Yes, the top was open most of the time, but sometimes when underway it would have been nice to have the windows open. All in all an excellent experience. Altezza left no detail alone.

Thanks to Altezza and Rasul!
Had the best safari with our guide Rasul. He was able to find us literally every animal in our list in the parks plus more. Everything was insanely easy with Altezza; barely had to use a single braincell. Lodges were incredible, food was great. Would strongly recommend AltezA for expertise and ethics.

Great safari experience
I had a wonderful safari with Khalid, definitely worth the price. He was very experienced, knew lots about all the animals we came across in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We saw lions, hyenas, a leopard, a cheetah, many elephants and birds. He was a good driver and always tried to find the best spots for us to watch and take photos of the animals. The Altezza staff were very responsive and also flexible, they helped us organize a visit to the Olduvai Gorge museum last minute. Definitely recommend adding that to any safari trips to the area, it’s a small but very interesting museum that explains the significance of the area for archaeology.

Terengire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti
It was a great experience to go through different national parks. We have seen a lot of animals and our guide did an excellent job. The jeep was quite comfortable and offered wi-fi. The group size of 4 people was almost perfect. Unfortunatelly you can't chose with whom you in the car.. Nevertheless our driver did a great job and found a way to satisfy everyone on board.

Aloyce and Altezza were exceptional!
Aloyce was our driver and he was excellent. He knew the answer to all our questions, made sure we were always at the front if there were several vehicles viewing animals, and found the perfect places for lunch - either in the middle of the animals or on a hill overlooking an amazing view. We'd just climbed Kilimanjaro and Altezza swapped our tour members so we could be a group of 4 girls. It made the trip extra special and we really appreciated their flexibility. I can't say enough good things about Altezza. Everything is taken care of from the moment you contact them to book, until the day you leave. I've travelled a lot and this was my best travel experience ever. I'd give them 10 stars if that was possible.

4-day Tanzania Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.
How much does 4-day Tanzania Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $3,296 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-day Tanzania Safari take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.
Is 4-day Tanzania Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 76 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-day Tanzania Safari?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 4-day Tanzania Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4-day Tanzania Safari?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-day Tanzania Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moshi?
+
On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Half Day Tour, Kilimanjaro climb, Machame Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moshi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moshi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 4-day Tanzania Safari?
+
Included: Accommodation before and after safari as per itinerary; Free Wi-Fi (signal will be available in only 60-75% of the traveled territories); Accommodations mentioned under your program; Lunch; and Dinner. Not included: Air tickets; Travel Insurance; Tips to your safari guide; and Visa fee. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 4-day Tanzania Safari include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 30 listed pickup locations in and around Moshi. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is 4-day Tanzania Safari offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 4-day Tanzania Safari?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
