Greatest Himalayas Experience!
Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure — a five-star experience I am deeply grateful to Bishnu Bhatta and Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure for an unforgettable opportunity to experience the Himalayas and Nepal’s culture. As an American from a small town, I never imagined I would enjoy such an authentic, well-organized journey. From the moment Bishnu greeted me at my Kathmandu hotel, his warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire trip. Despite a busy schedule, he responded to my last-minute request to join a trek and guided us tirelessly for 15 days — a commitment that reflected his character and dedication. He made me feel comfortable immediately, arranged a complimentary breakfast and took the time to get to know me. The Chisapani–Nagarkot trek was exceptional. Accommodations and restaurants were top quality and offered genuine Nepali hospitality and cuisine. The package truly delivered excellent value: hotels with Himalayan mountain views, cultural dining experiences, and all logistics included. During the trek I never felt rushed; Bishnu thoughtfully photographed moments so I could fully enjoy the scenery, and he shared knowledgeable insights about Nepali culture, the mountain ranges, and their histories. After the trek, Bishnu arranged additional transportation so I could visit key sites in Kathmandu, including the Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Dattatreya Temple, the Burning Ghat, and a memorable cable car ride — and he even organized a helicopter flight to the base of Mount Everest. Each experience was handled smoothly and respectfully. Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure delivers professional, caring service and an authentic cultural and trekking experience. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a Himalayan trek — book with them. As Gerard Way said, “One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.” This trip was certainly worth watching.

Challenging but amazing trek in Nepal
This was an amazing experience for me as a solo female traveller of a certain age (71). The tour was very well organized for me and the company did everything to make sure I was well taken care of. Day 1 of the hike was a lot more difficult than I expected and I so much appreciate the help of my guide Balu and the porter. I’m not sure I would have made it without Balu’s help and encouragement. Day 2 was longer but not as difficult as there was much less uphills and downhills. Nagarkot is especially beautiful and worth the visit. Highly recommend

A personalised heartwarming experience for a solo female traveler
The best thing about this trek was my guide Ganesh. I’m a 57 year old female travelling solo this time, my first visit to Nepal. Even though I’m pretty fit, I was a bit nervous about the trek but Ganesh encouraged me to take my time, look around. He was observant without being intrusive. We had great conversations about his life in a village, taking care of aged parents, Nepalese food and we also walked in comfortable silence. Everything went smoothly. It’s obvious that the company really cares about your experience. I highly recommend doing a trek with them, even an easy one like I did. I loved being in the country even though I only got to see the snow topped mountains from a distance.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review ! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such an outstanding experience in our country. It’s fantastic to know that Our Guide (Ganesh) played a big part in making the trip memorable and that his passion for his country helped you fall in love with it too. Your feedback means a lot, and we’re so grateful for your kind words. We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon !

A excellent company, with the highest standards
My favourite part of the experience was our time spent in Kathmandu. However, this was because I was only in Kathmandu as a travelling companion with my son. Trekking in Nepal had never been on my bucket list. However, the opportunity to visit an Asian city was great. The trekking was OK, and seeing the living conditions of the rural population was an eye opener. Perhaps the trekking would have been more satisfying if the weather conditions had allowed distant views, but this was not to be. Apparently, this has been the case all year, (2022), and is something which Himalayan Sanctuary can do nothing about. Don't go in June or July - monsoon season. Best time to go - early Spring, Autumn or - if you want to avoid warm weather - go in December or January., but then there is a risk of snow.
Response from the operator: We would sincerely like to thank you for taking the time to post a review of your experience with during your Nepal Holiday Tour and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your adventure. We were especially happy to hear your feedback on your experience being led by our team. Thank you again and we hope you’ll choose Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure for your next adventure! - HSA Team

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $320 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
