    Not a small group tour!

Day 1 to Lucerne was wonderful in a large van. Our time in Lucerne and on the mountain was on our own, with time limits. Really enjoyed meeting Evan and learning so much about the area. From Lucerne we were driven to Geneva in another nice van by Nils, another wonderful guide/driver with a wealth of information and a great personality. He was particularly helpful in clarifying how we were to choose the next 2 days itinerary. Day 2. We arrived at the office of Swiss tours and were directed to a large motor coach ( not the small bus with maximum 15 people as the description of this tour indicated). As we left the parking lot to begin our travel to GRuyere, awaiting the normal announcement from the guide…we grew a little nervous about being on the wrong bus. The tour guide, name unknown, never used the microphone to tells us his name, where we were going, what to expect. When we exited the bus at the first stop, he did explain to the people in the front of the bus where we were, but many people never heard it. This continued the entire trip. We enjoyed the tour otherwise. Day 3. Again, boarded a large Motor coach to Chamonix, instead of just 15 people. Immediately after departure, the tour guide introduced himself, introduced the driver and told us so much about Geneva, Chamonix and Mont Blanc. Neil was fantastic!

Response from the operator: Good morning, thank you for your review, it is small groups from Zurich and for the transfer, we believe it was only you. We are glad you liked Evan and niels, we will investigate on the Gruyères guide. We hope you keep good memories of the places you have seen. Best regards

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zurich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
