Everything was fantastic
This was an amazing trip. Although the weather was a bit moody, we still had incredible hikes and made time for some wine tasting at a monastery. Tato, our guide, was wonderful, knowledgeable, and always had a plan ready in case the weather didn't hold. The house we stayed in was a family home, the hosts made all the meals and the wine (delicious!), and the rooms were clean and cozy. I am a vegetarian and it was no problem at all to accommodate my needs. Taking this trip was one of my best decisions recently and I am already looking at which one I will book with Trek Georgia next. Also, one of the women who was in our group, was a return customer and this was her third trip with this company. If you are thinking about it, do it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your hiking tour in Kazbegi. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, but we're glad Tato's experience and flexibility helped make the trip a memorable one. Thank you again for choosing TrekGeorgia, and we hope to see you in the Caucasus again soon! Best wishes,

Three amazing days in Kazbegi with the best guide we could have asked for (Misha)
We spent three unforgettable days hiking in the Kazbegi region, and this was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia. Our itinerary included the breathtaking hike from Juta to Chaukhi Lake near Chaukhi Pass, the spectacular trek from Gergeti Trinity Church to the Kazbek Meteorological Station, and the beautiful walk through Truso Valley. Every day offered incredible scenery, and everything was flawlessly organized. A special thank you goes to Misha, who made the entire experience exceptional. He is one of the best mountain guides we have ever had. He was kind, patient, and always adapted the pace to suit us, making sure we enjoyed every moment without ever feeling rushed. He paid attention to every detail, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and always made sure we were comfortable and safe. He also accommodated every request with a smile and went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. On top of being an excellent guide, he is also a fantastic driver, which made all the transfers comfortable and stress-free. We truly felt we were in the best possible hands throughout the entire tour. We would also like to thank Dimitri, who organized everything behind the scenes. From the very first message until the end of the trip, he was incredibly responsive, always replying almost immediately and making sure every detail was taken care of. His professionalism, kindness, and reliability gave us complete confidence that everything would run smoothly—and it absolutely did. Finally, we loved staying at Suja Guest House. It felt much more like staying with a family than at a guest house. Everyone welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality, and we immediately felt at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The homemade Georgian food was absolutely delicious, generous, and authentic, and we especially loved the excellent homemade wine. Every meal was something to look forward to. The hosts treated us like part of the family, and their kindness made our stay even more memorable. As an Italian father and daughter who love hiking, good food, and authentic travel experiences, we can honestly say this was one of the best trips we have ever taken together. If even two Italians are praising both the food and the wine, you can be sure they were outstanding! This entire experience exceeded our expectations in every possible way. If you’re looking for an authentic hiking adventure in Georgia with stunning landscapes, outstanding organization, and truly wonderful people, look no further. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly—it is the kind of experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Great Experience - Highly recommend
We did the tour in early June. We were three women from Germany and Dimitri (Dito) was our guide. Everything was very well organised. The communication beforehand was always reliable and quick. Dimitri was very professional, answered all our questions and was always quick to adjust to our wishes and needs. He taught us a lot about Georgian culture and knows the area very well. And Dito if you're reading this by any chance, here is the link to the German song about potatoes 🥔 :) https://open.spotify.com/track/2Se8LRIhNHYEci7D1mgkXm?si=dpy9aIgJRx2wopQ70agmcg We would highly recommend this operator and would be very happy to go on another tour with them.

Wonderful Hikes!
Wonderful experience. We hike a lot in the French Alps and the hiking ( they cater for all levels) was good and challenging. Great vibe and energy in the group. Enjoyed every part of the tour.

Hiking and exploring in Juta, Truso and Kazbegi
Such a great time with Dito hiking in Juta, the Truso Valley, the waterfalls, staying over in the gorgeous guesthouse in Kazbegi and incredible food and hospitality. So great to spend time here with Dito sharing so much knowledge and insights of the region and country. We loved it. 🇬🇪🙏😍
Response from the operator: Hi Patricia, Thank you very much for your positive feedback! We can't wait to host you on another adventure soon!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.
How much does 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi cost?
+
Prices start at $590 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.
Is 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Day Hiking Group Tour in Kazbegi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?
+
On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tbilisi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
